3 mana 2/5 are extremely strong stats.  The cards are good too. I feel like if you make a mech deck, this will be only card that will have above 50% winrate when played, so the deck itself isn't viable. But maybe you can play pirate rogue with splash of mechs, or something like that? The amalgams will be super strong then.

If you magnetize a mech does that count?

It should as Security Automaton gets bumps from magnetizing
