waaaaaaassssaaaaapppppppiiiiinniiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnn?
When I receive the daily mail "What's been happening at HearthPwn" I always hear his voice "Wassaapining!"
A mage got this guy from both his unstable portals against my handlock n by the time I was able to get rid of them, the damage was done, lol. I know thats an isolated incident with extremely low probability but im just saying this thing is pretty underrated and I can see it being a devastating anti-control card if its played with some degree of protection or assurance.
I've added the Goblin Sapper to my Mill Rogue Deck with Coldlight Oracles - perfect to fill his hand and get the full potential of the Goblin Sapper. Best hidden behind a Deathlord and Shadowsteping the Coldlight Oracles.
I've been working on a mill rogue. I found this card randomly while looking for new low-cost cards to replace my ambushers with... oh man, it's been wonderful. i use it the exact same way.
me too, looks dangerous with the open flame next to the dynamite
i love the unintended value this guy has in the thaddius boss fight.
as long as his effect keeps going off, 2/4 becomes a 6/4, current stats are flipped, then it gains attack again becoming a 8/6. then 10/8 - 12/10 - 14/12, you get the idea. pretty fun stuff. thaddius is my favorite fight on heroic so i keep doing it from time to time and this guy wrecked him hard.
The amount of handlocks on the ladder and what they do to my Druid has made me put a couple in. Solid card well worth running
Not just anti handlocks, but anti "collect your cards, use them sparingly and burst at the end," decks, like Freeze mages.
But let's not get our panties in a twist. We all stil only have 30 cards total. So putting this in will create another weakness that wasn't previously there. Hence, what is really going to happen with 120+ cards added to the game is a whole slew of difference types of decks on the ladder, then reactions to them.
I see some future for this card in some rogue milling decks.
Also, I wonder if it could get haste from Warsong Commander after hitting the table.
Will not turn out as OP as it appear imo, just that control decks now got another extra creature to save a removal for.
Can be fun for druid to drop off from innervate though against slower deck
I see this card working really well in aggro warrior decks going nicely with other cards like Warsong Commander and Charge. It's a solid card but not really OP since there is only a few builds that will have you with a consistently large hand and forcing your opponent to draw into a large hand can backfire.
I'd pick a 2-4 vanilla creature in my arena draft, let alone the one that has text in it. Ppl saying handlock is dead are probably wrong since this card will probably not see much constructed play since its inconsistent. In arena it will be a great pick,
More incentive for mill decks
Good for tournament and arena, bad for ladder.
I doubt that this will make any decks unplayable (Such as handlock/control warrior).
Maybe it will get some playtime as a tech card in some metas/in tournaments. And maybe in wonky decks with Coldlight Oracle/Naturalize maybe...? They would need to release more cards in that vein to make that deck viable I think, but they seem to be leaning towards that with things like Dancing Swords and Clockwork Giant.
I like it, I think that it is interesting/fun, but it won't be nearly as big as people are saying.
This gobbie will be sick in any aggro deck against handlocks.
This guy is sick anti control card makes aggro so much better against it. In my opinion aggro druid is going to be a thing after this expansion launches since all these great 3 drops are coming out for it.
anti control card, you are basically killing handlock and control warrior and making rise of the agro deck, this card is to op,in my opinion blizzard has made a huge mistake creating this card
oh kill'em handlock is dead
