the_wenzel posted a message on Hearthstone Patch 15181 - Murloc Card Changes, Bug Fixes, New Dailies, and More!Posted in: NewsThey weren't nerfed, they were buffed, that's why no extra dust. Have you played the murloc mirror? It's whoever gets the most dudes down first wins. It's AWFUL if you're behind because you can't play half your deck without making your opponent just kill you faster. Sure it's a nerf if you're a player who magically always gets board position first in the murloc mirror, otherwise this is a great change.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that. You have to actually put cards with lifesteal, divine shield, taunt and windfury in your deck, and they all have to be in the deck on the turn you play this. Taunt is easy enough, but we will have to wait and see what classes will actually put good cards with all of those different effects to get full value. Right now, people aren't running windfury cards, and lifesteal is mostly restricted to this set. So far I don't see this outside of Paladin and Shaman.

If it had taunt maybe it would be viable in spell-heavy combo decks. But this thing just sits on the board while your opponent laughs at you and kills you with murlocs/pirates/druid tokens.

So a few days ago I am driving to work a little before 5 am, and there's nobody on the road except for one other car who pulls out of a driveway ahead of me. So I'm behind him and he's not driving the speed limit. For some reason I actually like to get to work on time, so I keep up the proper speed and hope the idiot wakes up and speeds up too. When I start to get a bit close he slams his brakes and goes down to 15 mph. I have to speed around him (only one lane going south but there's no one else so it's fine to pass him on the other side of the road). What does this have to do with Hearthstone? Well there was just a guy in casual playing druid who went first, spent the entire turn emoting "spectacular" and then played Jade Idol right before the rope was about to burn out. I DON'T UNDERSTAND PEOPLE WHO WASTE THEIR OWN TIME TO WASTE THE TIME OF A COMPLETE STRANGER. I wasn't playing quest rogue, and even if I was he couldn't have known. I managed to make him rage concede on turn 4 because he didn't seem to understand the stealth mechanic, so there was justice there at least. But that driver is going to incite a road rage incident one of these days.

The voting results show that a lot of people fail to grasp just how insane this battlecry can be when used in the right type of deck. But hey, half of us are on this site because we like to build new decks; the other half are mere netdeckers who struggle to see the application of cards until they watch someone on Twitch perform well with it. It's definitely more of an arena card than something that works in constructed, but it's an auto-include in ramp druid because drawing innervate when you need to continue a chain of big minion pressure kills you. This is one of the most interesting build-around cards they've made and I can't wait to try it out.

Shuffle, thank God. When I saw this on the Taiwanese site I thought it was a deathrattle to summon a 4/3. It sounds crazy until you think about Tunnel Trogg...

7 turns of only playing 1 drops and you swap out an 8/8 with a 3/2? You lose the game.

If you think this looks bad, just you wait until they show the cards they want us to play with it:

Such a cool quest requirement! Not nearly so linear as "play 7 stealth minions" or something like that. Actually requires some planning, not just playing certain minion types on curve.

Well that solves the problem of running out of cards to discard, I suppose, if you're lucky. I like the design of this and look forward to trying it out.
