Hearthstone algorithms are just amazing. Play a control, face ultra aggro, play midrange/aggro face a control with removals that the opponent top decks right on time. It's like that mage thingy when you're at 6 or 12 hp,they ALWAYS have fireball or two. It's like blizzard saying ,,Bend over while we shove this commercial cock of ours into your sorry ass, don't resists,it's futile''.

Typical_Weeaboo posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!Posted in: General DiscussionThe goddamn Entomb, f*** this shit, i can't take it anymore. What were they smoking when they made this crap? It's fucking bull*****.
Here's the story: i was playing with my C'thun Warrior, i was playing against a C'thun Priest, it was already late game and i played my C'thun, in his turn, he didn't play nothing so i thought:"Well, GG!"... Except not, i hit them in the face with my C'thun and he didn't die, that would be ok if he didn't topdeck the Entomb.
Later on in the game he played 2 C'Thuns
BALANCED!

JaggedEdge16 posted a message on Group therapy! Need to blow off steam? Mega salty? Here is the place!Posted in: General Discussionok my turn - i'm pretty much fed up with these Huntard players who think they are skill players. Take for example my last game with an idiot named SS33 who played all his idiot cards early and got the jump on me b/c i had a bad hand. And then he tries freinding me so he can talk Shi**t. this has happened to me before with another Huntard who i had to report to blizzard b/c he did the same thing. so let me be clear to all the Huntards out there, your stupid aggro deck that you copied from online isn't really playing Hearthstone. a real hearthstone player makes his own deck and experiments with the different synergies and plays the game for enjoyment, not to see how fast they can win!
ok i feel better :)

Here is the place!Posted in: General DiscussionOn a win streak toward rank 5 with control shaman, carefully thinking through every move as I slay control deck after control deck. Trying desperately to hit 5 so that I can get my golden epic and start playing other decks for fun in ranked. Streak ended by an aggro shaman where my only answer (Lightning Storm), hit all his minions for 2, leaving them all alive. Got through 13 cards and no Elemental Destruction. Eff this.

formulas666 posted a message on I feel terrible for F2P new playersPosted in: General DiscussionHi guys
It doesn't really matter if you are f2p or p2w, all of us are just players. None of us work at Blizzard where they have been highly successful in many games both paid and free to play. If Hearthstone being free to play wasn't profitable for them, they would have changed it by now. If Hearthstone no longer was attracting new players in the millions and showing a sharp decline in player base, they would have changed the system by now. Hearthstone is doing just fine.
If you're friends or relatives are interested in the game, just tell them to go play it without telling them of all this other "stuff" we have to deal with. It ruins the experience just like a spoilers for a movie. The movie might be medicore, but spoiling it just ruins it. If they play through the tutorial, beat the AI and rank up all classes to level 10, its up to them to see if you truely enjoy the game to continue on. The vast majority of the 75 million players don't even care about losing, netdecks, or crafting. They might just play a couple games a week, manage to complete a quest, and slowly build their collection all being happy. It is when you try to go beyond that you begin desire more cards, more quests, more gold, getting to legend, etc. The game becomes less of a fun casual hobby and more of a race to try to beat it.
If your friends or relatives after one month of casually playing end up enjoying the game, then recommened using advanced methods to gain and save gold faster like getting good at arena and trying to allign similar quests. If they lost interest before then, Hearthstone isn't for them. Either way, if they are gamer, they're going to spend the money on another game.
enjoy the game.

I don't even mind C'Thun decks if you hit face hard enough... I've put together a tempo mage that's flexible enough to either play the board or play face...
BUT DON'T ROPE EVERY MOTHER FUCKING TURN.
This isn't a god damned tournament. Play what you have on curve, or play a removal and drop minions with remaining mana. You literally have very few choices in this game.
Stop hovering over cards and pulling a card and holding on board or shuffling through your 4 cards with 3 mana and PUT SOMETHING DOWN.

This gives me a lot of faith in the rest of the set for Warlock. Hope to see a lot of cards that improve the heavy control Warlock archetype.

They should have tacked on "Costs (1) less for every totem your opponent has summoned." Kappa

Paladin refusing to play his Tirion until you've exhausted your Entombs? No problem! Just play this, force it out of his hand if you're lucky, then entomb it!
OK, not a very likely scenario, but I can't wait to see it on a Trolden clip.

So earlier today I theorycrafted an Aviana + Kun deck that involved a 30 damage OTK with Leeroy, two Faceless Manipulators, and two Brewmasters. This is less fun than yours but regardless of that, when I was scrolling through the deck archetype options, they have just about everything you can think of, even C'Thun (yet nobody plays C'Thun druid anymore), except for combo! I know combo used to refer to a specific combo, and it's a bit of a touchy subject and maybe a bit insensitive to refer to any new combos as the "combo" archetype, but Hearthpwn should let us label a deck that wins with a combo as such! Just because that combo is no longer Force of Nature Savage Roar, doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to make a combo deck and properly categorize it here.
Sorry for ranting... cool deck, can't wait to get my hands of Kun and mess around with stuff like this.

So it isn't going to get a bunch of armor through whirlwind effects like armorsmiths can, or if your opponent kills it with a flame lance, since it has to deal damage in minion combat or going face/getting hit by a weapon. But if you mess around with the stats with buffs or the alchemist, you could gain a lot of armor, potentially. Definitely a fun addition to Bolster. But as someone else already alluded to, Priest makes it very scary to play cards like this.

Half the time I've faced mill decks while playing control I still won, despite mill being favored. I just draw so much that I can drop threat after threat and once saps and vanishes are gone, it's GG.

It certainly doesn't look as nice as last year's. I use that one quite a lot. Still, I bought the virtual ticket this year, just as I have always done, because if Hearthstone has a collectible card back or hero, I've just got to have it.... If it feels bad paying $40 for a card back, just know that I spent $100 to get the Dalaran Flame card back.

I have smurf accounts I made for Morgl and the packs, hadn't played in three months. Just checked and didn't get the welcome back quest, so I'd say more than 3 months.
