Leeroy costs 5 mana (so you have room for another 1 mana play - you could play another claw for 6 additional damage, or play gravelsnout whatever it's called for 1 mana, and gain another 9 damage hit)
This card is almost purely a midrange card. Midrange decks are great at building big boards which are tough to clear with cheap spells or other minions. They are weak to mass removal. Most mass removal spells are 7/8 mana. This card would give you that 1-2 turns with a big board, required to finish the game (very similar to how Loatheb worked in Midrange decks).
This can be used in a thunderhead deck/Zentimo deck. Play it out on a given turn and then play thunderhead plus 2x Zap drawing 2x lightning bolt drawing rockbiter/windfury. You've cleared the board and started to set up for a Zentimo combo kill.
Also it could be used to draw six 1 cost spells (lightning bolt, totemic slam, and Frost Shock) that can be used in maly shaman with 6 zero cost spells (2 zap, 2 Ancestral Healing, 2 Totemic might. Then play a couple turns of Eureka + spells and win
Seems to have a great synergy with Corpsetaker. If you have them both on board they may have to let you draw at least two cards. Potentially you could draw 4 cards (if you get to attack with Corpsetaker (with windfury).
I had both tar creepers and stonehill defenders in here originally but I wanted to work in a few other draw cards. I would add tar creeper back in first though as I would rather be drawing from my deck than Drmaking cards.
When you examine standard and take into account the 4x class preference of discover you find there is an approx. 50% chance of a top tier discovery. There is a 90%+ chance of finding at lease average value for 7 mana pick. Much better than the sunwalker.

Hopefully you are playing Corpsetaker before turn 7+ or it looses a lot of it's strength anyway.

I'd consider adding Countess Ashmore considering how well she fits and she pulls Shivallah, Zilliax and one of the deathrattles.

Just make sure you play surrender to madness first. lol can't wait to see that highlight were the player goes back to 2 mana from 9.

This is not worse than ancestral spirit for battery minions.
