The outrage over Purify is caused by the state Priest currently is in. There just is no reason at all to play it really, the only remotely viable decks are Control and Dragon Priest and both of those are outclassed by Warrior Control variants; I'd even go as far as saying that if as a Warrior you had access to the complete arsenal of Priest, the only card you would even consider playing is Entomb.
Purify itself is bad but it's not worse than Poisoned Blade - its release just happens to be way more frustrating than Poisoned Blade 's because Priest is in desperate need of good cards while Rogue always had alternatives to Poisoned Blade.
I think a good week of a mode with warsong commander and undertaker available, with Old Gods cards, would make you beg, BEG for secret paladin again. That deck had nothing to the messed up old decks we used to have.
A brawl with all of that changed maybe, but a mode? Nope.
What about good ol' 4 mana Leeroy Jenkins though? 5 mana Gadgetzan Auctioneer? Those were the days I tell you. The days of true balance, literally everything was broken which made it fair.
Just as planned - Play a Barnes that was obtained through using Golden Monkey and have it summon Majordomo Executus . Then trigger its Deathrattle and kill your opponent using your new Hero Power. Bonus points if it wasn't your own Golden Monkey at first.
Not Like This - Play a Barnes that was obtained through using Golden Monkey and have it summon Majordomo Executus . Then have your enemy trigger its Deathrattle and kill you with exact lethal. Bonus points if it wasn't your own Golden Monkey at first.
The Priest Card is in the trailer ... the 7 mana 2/4 ... We just don't know its text.
Maintime, let me tell you guys a joke:
"A Priest survived til round 7 and was not lost..."
Some of the cards they have shown on trailers had art that never was used or had completly different stats, e.g. Darkbomb on the GvG trailer is seen as a 4/1 minion. Also, they always have the Warlock border, I don't see how that card specifically has to be a Priest one.
As a loyal priest player and Amaz follower from the beginning, this gives me a slight glimmer of hope that Blizzard actually accomplished something special for the priest class in order to boost it back up with the new cards, like Shamans once did.

They can't give Priest that many good cards because Entomb makes them able to completly dominate the meta otherwise.

Love the artwork, though I'm not sure if it's actually good.

I tried very hard with the second one.

It has never been used competitivly, even when cards like Death's Bite , Tinker's Sharpsword Oil ,or Blade Flurry existed. Also - not that it matters from a competitive point of view - it isn't even required for getting Captain's Parrot anymore.
-> It's a pretty safe disenchant if you prefer being competitive quickly over obtaining every card in the game using as little dust as possible.
