I just realised that the final boss for Darius Crowley is supposed to be Lord Godfrey. I got Azalina soul thief as the final boss, instead. Was a pretty easy win as I blew all the wisps to shreds. Anyone else encountered this bug?
I won with Gilnean vigilante while he had a fel reaver on board. Proceeded to burn through his deck on turn 6. A 1/3 kingsbane is nothing if you remove all the buff spells.
The cards' classes are the class the boss uses. Some of them will also keep in theme with the boss encounter itself, so don't be too surprised.
How Thaddock the thief works would be that for example, playing 4 cards would get you an 18/18 Edwin Vancleef instead of a 10/10. Your spells with combo would also activate twice, so Eviscerate would deal 8 damage instead of 4.
The card draw that hunter needs AND deserves. Good hunter card draw is long overdue.
To evolve? Or not to evolve? That is the question. Yes, Evolve and devolve are shaman spells but Blackseed plays a aggro druid deck in the dungeon run so I decided to stick with that. Also, Fandral Staghelm will only affect the first choice as he's something else.
She sees all there is to see. You discard up to 6 cards because there are 6 different beams.
She's so angry she can't gain attack or health! What kinda twilight dragon is she?
Doesn't really keep in theme with the -1 attack boss encounter but I thought it would be cool to play a duskbreaker, followed by a drakonid operative and finally a bone drake on curve.
What is better than a 9 mana 3/9? A 9 mana 3/3! No, seriously.
The high mana cost and extremely bad stats helps to balance out the power of the beams. He's 9 mana so that you can still discard a card with
soulfire
or something.
His hero power summons a 5/5 darkspawn at the start of his turn.
Use your 3 candles wisely. The candles start in your hand and is a 0 mana spell that destroys all darkspawns. it's best if you use a candle to clear all darkspawns before turn 7 or he might psychic scream them into your deck. this is bad for you because the darkspawns are 5 mana vanilla minions which will disrupt your draws.

1 mana: upgrade your amethyst spellstone and discover a voidlord.

This + oasis snapjaw = 9 mana 5/19 zombeast that is at worst 5/9 zombeast. Op.

Rod of roasting should totally be a real card.
Tunnel trogg for days.

Everyone's favourite dynamic duo. Doesn't really require explanation.

"Look at me. I'm the captain now."
Gives recruit warrior some much needed kick.

The beams are the same from the boss encounter.

Turns out, totem of the dead (treasure) + ancestral spirit + Kel'thuzad is preeeeeeeeeeeety good. It's still a really close game though.
If you manage to pull off the combo stated above, using grumble, worldshaker to protect some of your Kel'thuzads is a good idea too.

He has lots of clears. He used 2 twisting nethers, 1 entomb and 2 psychic screams against me. I think it's safe to assume he has one more entomb in his hand.
He has 2 mind controls also which can punish you severely.
The rouge secrets he used against me are sudden betrayal and evasion. Both are quite easy to play around.

I think doing both is kinda tough for me, since I find arena to be very addictive and I always end up spending another 150 gold after a bad run.

Is the best way to save up on gold to continuously clear daily quests or to gamble at the arena and hope for 12 wins?

preeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeety good.
