posted a message on Should I DE my other classes?

I would tell you wait at least till next expansion. You said they killed off combo druid and even though I disagree to some extent (weak but not dead) I see your point. However if in April the next set revives it you may regret any disenchanting done. I do appreciate that you have a plan on what to craft. Seeing it well thought out is a good start. Still I'd wait and see if it were me. I'm sitting on my dust now for the same reason.

Also with rotation comes the Hall of Fame move. That will collect you some dust as well. Whatever card they are moving craft it as you get that dust back. That's how I round out my collection as F2P*. I've been F2P since the start and can make a deck of each class that I enjoy. I definitely don't have all the cards I want but I accept that sacrifice. Besides at rotation I tend to be able to craft 1 or 2 legendaries per set so I end up with enough to play around with.

So again I'd just say wait. See what moves and what comes out. These cards aren't going anywhere so you have that dust in bank anyway.  See what the future holds then do what you will. Good luck!

*I had to buy that Wild bundle. Was too good to resist!

I got a golden Y'Shaarj, Rage Unboundthat is very pretty.

Favorite though. Too hard to pick just one. I love the art in this game.

posted a message on What Do You Think About Overkill?

I voted average. It's not flashy. Still when playing Overkill cards choosing to trigger the OK or trade into something bigger (or even go face) seems like a fun decision. I like cards that can make me think a bit. Sure there will be a right and easy answer 9 times out of 10 but the extra option is a plus in my book.

I may be in the minority though. I tend to try and make off meta cards work or do strange deck builds. Overall I'm super psyched for RR. Disco Lock round 3...fight! :D

A potention more powerful Twisting Nether with enough friendly minions on the board. The silence is both a positive and negative. Stops your own deathrattle minions but if you can summon a bunch of throw away tokens it can be very powerful.

Been a while since I submitted. The idea is a mix of Quick Shot and Bouncing Blade. Giving hunters a bit of card draw but only if their random target dies. Can also be a replacement for Deadly Shot but only if your hand is empty.

posted a message on Why does Blizzard never buff cards?

I kinda like their policy. Printing new cards instead of buffing feels okay to me. I don't mind some cards being lackluster, even legendaries. Heck i didn't think Anomalus would have a spot and yet I've got him in an Elemental DK Jaina deck.  Some cards just take time to find a home.

Cards like Cho'gallare going to rotate out and just never saw play.

I have to disagree. Rotating to wild does not mean it's dead. You may only play standard but Wild is a thing. Also not seeing play in a competetive deck does not mean it was useless to print, even as a legendary.

As for the warlock quest and discard legendaries I don't think pushing this archetype is bad. Maybe they pushed it too hard but I still think it has some merit. Clutchmother Zavas and Blood-Queen Lana'thel are interesting cards in my mind. Not only do they work with the quest but the can also be played in a more aggressive warlock. Blood-Queen doesn't take that many discards to be useful and Zavas played aggressively can be powerful. As for the quest itself, really they just need cards to care about you having Demons on the board in the late game. The imps just don't pack the pressure you want that late. Perhaps more spells such as Demonheart or a DOOM! that lets low cost/power demons live? I am sure something will come up.

I would argue the hunter DK would be too strong with a cost reduction. It's already quite powerful but you have the downside of having to survive to play it. Those Zombeasts though can be devastating.

Moorabi I think just hasn't found a home yet. Freeze shaman wasn't a thing. However this card definitely makes me wanna run it. It won't be optimal or anything but could realy be good in the furture.

The paladin quest, while not hugely popular was used quite a bit by the streamer Kibler. The biggest flaw was you could win before you summoned him. I think we'll see more of him in the future with whatever buffs the Paladin gets.

Power Overwhelming was rotated out in order to push warlocks away from the charge OTK they've been doing. Not only was it not fun but it was so strong that most warlock decks used it. In order to make other strategies shine they had to push this one away.

As for Treachery it's just too early to tell. The cards only been out a month. Giving your opponent a minion can be so lethal. Such a fun card though. Always loved the donate spell from MTG.

posted a message on What expansion to buy?

Remember that sets rotate out by year. So this years sets (Mammoth/2017) go to wild around April 2019. While sets last year (Old Gods, Karazhan adventure, and Mean Streets) leave  April-ish 2018. That means KoFT, Ungoro and set 3 that'll come at the end of this year all last until 2019. Don't be afraid to buy those by thinking they'll leave right away.

Also a new feature added to the game is that the first 10 packs you buy of a set give a legendary and you will not receive duplicate legendaries. So if you haven't bought any Ungoro yet, grab 10, get a legend that'll stick around for a bit. if you care about wild or just wanna play with the sets I'd say grab 10 MSG or Old Gods* too! Don't forget to pick up your free legendary from the KoFT prologue mission too.

*C'thun is free no matter what in Old gods so you get 2 for 10 here!

posted a message on Hi guys, a short advice?

I agree with the wait but also

Did you try it? Make the best deck you can play a few games. Change out some cards and repeat. Do this a few times see how it feels and don't forget to check out the emotes.

Is there something else you really want right now? Some hero or other legend you need for your decks. If not just hang onto it. The dust value won't go down so just hold it till you have something to craft lines up.

posted a message on So Silence doesn't remove Lifesteal..

What did you silence? I believe it can be removed with the exception of minions of the elemental tribe on board post frost Lich jaina. I would assume she work much like the rogue quest reward. It's an aura on her rather than a buff on the minion.

posted a message on Princes and Neutral Legendaries from KFT

First off I think the prince cards are cool. Nothing too flashy but a mini build around me mechanic like Reno. Sure the effects aren't as powerful but they are fun little puzzles to play around deck building with. Even if they turn out bad I'll still try them if I open them. I'm the guy "bad" legends are designed for. I play with boogie monster, Gruul, Nat the darkfisher.

Second I don't think any other cards will directly call out the prince cards. They are a stand alone cycle this expansion. Just a strange deck building puzzle card set that also weakens malchezzar, sindragosa, ect.

Third and most importantly the power level of neutral legendaries doesn't need to be so high (see Ragnaros).  Neutrals that slot into most decks get dangerous. I don't mind a few powerful ones, like Elise, but when they are just blatantly strong and or a finisher decks feel too similar since they all run them ( Dr boom).  Keeping them more niche or weaker is a good thing for class diversity.

That all said i do still have hope for a flashy neutral to be released. While in like the prince cards sometimes  just fun to cthun or nzoth or yogg.

posted a message on Anyone else sick of dying from unanswerable spells?
    Quote from Poodris >>

the counter mechanic should appear in more than just 1 card.

I have to disagree. Playing a spell and having it do nothing feels extremely bad. The secret is okay, people learn to play around it. However having it more prolific would be terrible for spell decks. While I want there to be counter play a straight up counter isn't good. I prefer things like the new nerubian or the troggs or mana bind.
To add something instead of just arguing against an idea. I'd love to see an opposite to spell power. Something that minuses damage from opposing spells. Not subtracting a huge amount mind you but even just minus one would make people possibly play around the minion to get full damage.
Lifesteal will also help against spell decks. With no big neutral heal they could just wittle you down over turns. Now it's burst me, deal damage through the heal or take out my lifesteal minions. It's at least an extra step to take for such decks without nullifying all spells.

posted a message on why did they choose to go back to reno-esque cards?

Because 'Renoesque' cards make for a more interesting way of deckbuilding. They also make you think about what to put into a deck rather than 'Ill just put two of everything in because it's good'

This.  Cards that change the way you think about deck building are interesting. Wether it's Reno, kazakus, or Taldaram things that make you build different are good. They may not always be powerful but exploring can be fun.
I understand concerns however we should give them a try first. Also remember sets arent created in a vaccum. They are meant to interact with eachother through out its lifecycle (and in wild).
Concerns with Valanar I can understand better. He is the most lacking of the 3. Perhaps there will be something else in the set, or future sets, that will push him forward. Who knows till we see it all.

posted a message on Why did the new Blizzard vid get so much hate?

I think it really was the lack of reveal that got the majority of down votes.

I understand they want to drag this out a bit. Three weeks before April and the release date can still fluctuate. However revealing basically the art of what is a token from another card is a bit to slow for my taste. I say give us the quest or reward fully and hold the other part till later. Then we would have something to talk about, theory craft or what have you.

Otherwise I like the skit. Fun way to reveal card.  Well 1/4 of a card really. People are excited for change or just new stuff. I know the 17th will give more but flashy reveals like this are only cool when they reveal something.

posted a message on Worth dusting cards from a class I'll never use?

If that is a class you are sure you won't play and won't regret that decision later then why keep the cards? If you won't use them at all then make them into something you will use.

Warlock is not just aggressive decks though. Have you tried a handlock deck yet? It may suit your style more. Try one just to make sure you aren't into it. The deck did get hurt by the molten giant nerf, but should still be somewhat playable in a more casual setting.
