Posted in: Dr. BoomWe got more 7 drops(Chillmaw) and they don't see play because Boom outperforms most 8 and 9 drops. You can't balance any other legendary around Boom without destroying Hearthstone with massive power creep. Boom has been on the watchlist for a while and he may be next to go.

Posted in: Dr. BoomI bet Boom's usage will hit 50% and this will be when he gets the "Warsong" treatment. Would not be surprised if he ends up costing 9 mana or bombs target a random character(instead of enemy). Boom severely restricts design space when people just run him instead of class legendaries. This really hurts sales of packs.

I think this should be nerfed to "Add a random 2 mana cost minion to your hand", if you look at the 2 mana cost cards, you realize that using the outcome properly will require some sort of skill.

Won Heroic.
Turn 1 Inner Fire targeting Dorothee.
2
Romulo is a good target for both Humility and Blessing of Wisdom
5
A great turn 1 counter to Argent Squire : )

Mana Addict
Worked for me. I'm missing a lot of cards in that list.

Looking at the recent Abios Grand Tournament (2015/10/02), the top 8 players, 3 decks each.
Num* is the number of players that uses this deck (out of 8).
Dr.B* is the number of decks that Dr.Boom appears in.
Num* Dr.B*
8x Druid Ramp 7
4x Patrons
4x SecretPaladin 1
3x Demon HandLock 3
2x DragonPriest
1x Mage Tempo 1
1x Oil
1x Shaman Totem
If these players know what they are doing then Dr.Boom is really only for Druid Ramp and Demon HandLock decks.

This card is boring.
43.40% of all decks. I'll go up against some hunter deck, all beasts and this guy. Then some warlock deck all demons and this guy .... etc etc etc...
He's destroying the theme. Fighting him in every game is dull for me and speaking as a player who does not have Dr. Boom it's starting to feel like a pay to win game.
What can I do? Craft Dr. Boom and join the others? I would need to disenchant 30 packs of cards, that about $40 for this one card.
Ok and if I do this what would I get for my money...?
A guaranteed win? No only a 50/50 win because everyone else also has Dr. Boom.
A fun game? No you get a game were you see Dr. Boom every game on both sides.
So quit? No you just payed $40 to play this game.
In foresight of all this I'm not going to be paying the $40. Thanks.

Like all cards, this card is not going to work in every deck. In a deck set up for it, it's good :)
Running death rattle and/or imps the cost of losing a minion can be almost nothing.
Deadly Shot Benefit: destroy minion Cost: card - 3 mana
Void Crusher Benefit: destroy minion + your minion Cost: card - 6 - 2 - your minion
You can look at this more than one way. Maybe you wanted to use your hero power anyway. If this is the case then you can look at it as a cost of 3 extra mana with the chance of greatly upgrading an imp to a Void Crusher.
The real advantage of this card is that (uplike Deadly Shot, Assassinate or whatever) the Crusher stays in play.
Your opponent must now do something about the Crusher or it repeats.
In one game my opponent just passed turns doing nothing. I think they had some big legendary they did not want in play. So the Crusher can be like a stalling tactic, you don't actually need to use it's ability.

Fun card.
Early game you can scare your opponent, late game there is no down side.
Yesterday I was fighting a priest. I kept Demonfuse in my hand and he used Mind Vision :)
Demonfuse can not be used against you like Demonfire and Demonheart (both state 'friendly' Demon).
Anyway, later in this game the priest did cast Demonfuse and also Shadow Word: Death so he found a way :)

Floating Watcher.
I can't see anyone mentioning it here. Both this card and Flame Imp are for supporting the watcher.
...or (when I can) I use it with Mal'Ganis for a trade doing 0 damage to me.
The card is OK.
