April 2016 Card Nerf
It was announced on April 20th, 2016 that Master of Disguise would receive a nerf.
- Now only gives a minion Stealth until your next turn.
Quote from BlizzardThe ability of Master of Disguise to grant permanent Stealth has been a design obstacle for a long time, so we are changing Master of Disguise to only grant Stealth until the next turn. This change opens up exciting options for future cards.

Sooo it's a trap.
She is Disguised Toast's grandmaster
I came here to check the flavor text. I was expecting some Robbie Rotten reference, I'm disappointed.
So far all of the design space
shehe was using up has gone to good use.. ahem Gadgetzan FerrymanShe's actually a male tauren. People don't call him "Master of Disguise" for nothing.
Nice one, just got the Golden version as part of the season end reward... hello, 800 dust :D.
Same... plus a Golden Mortal Strike and a Leper Gnome. From 1 Tavern Brawl freebie. Think I'll keep the Mortal Strike though. To quote that odd boy "i like golden animation" :)
wait wait wait...........Master of Disguise..... is a GUY?!?!?!
Lol now nobody will play it.
Wait...... xD
I understand the arguments Blizz gave. It's still kinda funny though : )
Scaled Nightmare cries
why no 5/4?
You can Inner Fire it tho. That's a good combo
yeah this card is way too powerful!! you can stealth almost any of the big minions and insta win the game...
Suspect this nerf was most likely to stop any tricks by getting 1 mana 1/1 version of this card through the new duplicate effect rogues will be getting
could have at least increased the stats to 5-4
I don't even see her getting play since I started playing this game 2 years ago, but whatever, 200 dust, thanks.
i have a golden one, thx blizzard!
I apparently had two gold ones, I don't remember ever getting them since I normally DE all rogue cards. Oh well, gone now, thanks for the dust blizzard!
Wow, if you're gonna do this you might as well put Animated Armor back as a neutral like you wanted to originally Blizz :l

This is a good nerf due to the fact that in a C'Thun Rogue Deck You could drop a Twilight Elder on turn 3 with little chance of it getting removed right away. Then on turn 4 you could drop Master of Disguise To now grant it permanent stealth. Because of this your C'Thun will gain +1/+1 at the end of every turn and there are very few cards that could stop it. Flamestrike, Tinker's Sharpsword Oil + Blade Flurry, Sylvanas Windrunner if you get lucky, Mind Control Tech But now we're just getting into the hard to pull off.
While they said that it was a design problem for a long time. I'm pretty sure this possible combo influenced their decision.
