Completed on first try with this deck
Mulligan for removal on turn 3 Big Game Hunter, Polymorph or Polymorph: Boar
If you have at least one big minion removal, can keep Mana Wyrm and Mad Scientist
Rmbr to use your hero power first before playing anything if you have the mana,
Try to keep the Fireball and Forgotten Torch and its counterpart for lethal damage to the face
EDIT: Looks like a lot of people are getting success with Faceless Manipulator and Sylvanas Windrunner, do consider them if you need replacements
I won, but with swapping out Dr. Boom for Alexstrasza =)

Big Game Hunter was changed but still really useful, thanks for the deck, it was fun and easy to use.
Archmage Antonidas, Faceless Manipulator, and cheap removal were the MVP's for me. got him down to 7 health then built a hand full of Fireball and just survived till he summoned the next thing
Based on the cards I have:
took out: 1x Arcane Blast, 2x Flamecannon, 2x Big Game Hunter, 1x Dr. Boom
added: 1x Emperor Cobra, 2x Animated Armor, 2x Faceless Manipulator, 1x Sylvanas Windrunner
he always attacked my Animated Armor so all they did were act as early soft taunts. it worked out for me but i'd look for something else if i were to try it again
This was one of the easiest fights in LoE Heroic. Maybe i was lucky af, actually I was. Got him on 1st try. Replaced Flamecannon with Sylvanas Windrunner and found space for 2 Faceless Manipulator
I had a removal for each 4 of the bosses he summoned. 1 was from the new HP, 2Polymorph and then a Polymorph: Boar which I didnt need.
Emperor Thaurissan stayed alive for 3 4 turns. And I stole with a Mirror Entity his Keeper of Uldaman which hat immunity from the Immune boss. So i could remove lots of minions. After I popped Sylvanas the naga boss came and what did the smartass AI do? He buffed with an artifact my Sylvanas to 15/15. One shottet him after that
I used Fireball and Roaring Torch for burning him and the minions I had. I had board control the whole match also
THANKS RNJESUS
This is one thing I have noted the AI does I just beated The Steel Sentinel (heroic) and he also buffed my Sylvanas (blessing of kings +4/+4) I think the AI buffs sylvanas in order to give her more health so she don't dies and steals something.
2nd Try. Luckily, pulled out a Mind Control which allowed me to steal Zinaar on T4 and from there kept him at least 10 turns for the win.
Thanks for the deck. I tried mill rogue, numerous priest variants, and several mage decks. but yours was the only one that felt like I had any chance of winning consistently. Took me maybe 10 tries, but I had potential lethal several times, just got unlucky with which boss he summoned. Changes I made due to card availability:
-1 Dr. Boom
-1 Arcane Blast
-1 Mana Wyrm
+2 Faceless Manipulator
+1 Sylvanas Windrunner
3rd try, flamewakers carried hard along with getting antonidas out on turn 3 with that card that gives you 4 extra mana crystals.
5-6 times, but is a funny battle

Got him in the first try with full life. Polymorphs were invaluable. Flamewakers carried until they were flamestriked away.
Actually, I really did it on my first try so thanks :D
those saying you got it on first try are full of shit
Defeated this boss on ~sixth try by abusing bug. Boss has summoned Sun Raider Phaerix and played Flamewaker, when I had Mirror Entity. Then i have killed enemy minioins, but my Flamewaker has remained invulnerable. Maybe I could win even without using this bug.
thx a lot! finally beat loe
First try. Insane Archmage Antonidas for this fight.
Used Sylvanas and Faceless and won on first try. Very good deck
This deck is really bad, and I'm surprised it has so many upvotes. Maybe it was good before theBig Game Hunter nerf, due to the amazing tempo, but even then, you can get much better removal and value from other classes. After failing with this deck for like the 15th time, I switched to this control priest which has 12 votes and got it on the first try.
My advice: don't bother with this one unless you want to make it harder on yourself, and just go with a more control type of deck like the one I linked.
Also, note how most of the comments here say they used Sylvanas Windrunner, Faceless Manipulator and other modifications to win. That should be your main clue that the deck no longer works as is, and is in need of updating badly.
I didnt even stole anything with Sylvanas Windrunner or used Faceless Manipulator against him. Neither I used Big Game Hunter because I dont have him. I used Flamewaker early on and had removal for all his bosses. And I used the HP every time I had the chance. 1 shotted him, believe it or not
