This deck is based mostly around the paladin hero ability, which has decent synergy with cards like Sea Giant, Knife Juggler and, obviously, Quartermaster. I'm still testing this deck, but it's been doing surprisingly well for something I just came up with out of boredom. Any advice/constructive criticism is welcomed and much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
For those who are wondering, the Recombobulator is in the deck to primarily serve as a healer for the Sea Giant, or to provide it with a transformation into Deathwing. It also serves as a decent 2 drop if necessary.
Let me tell you all a little story to explain my pick.
A few months ago, I introduced a friend of mine to Hearthstone, and in January, he finally started to really get into it! I started teaching him about the various thought processes when it comes to making plays, and showed him a few of the top twitch streamers. I even showed him Hearthpwn.
Then, he got a quest which required him to win 5 games w/ mage or hunter. He didn't have any hunter cards and he didn't know very much about the mage, so he visited this site, and found that one motherf***ing deck: MechMage.
He then proceeded to steamroll his way to rank 8 when he could barely make it to rank 15 before. I'm not that good at HS myself, but he then started acting all high and mighty, thinking that he could tear apart all of my decks. He would nevershut up about his rank whenever I saw him IRL, so one day, I challenged him to a few games in front of some of our friends. He then proceeded to get godlike RNG with his starting hands (Ex. Snowchugger x2, Mechwarper, and Clockwork Gnome). He then proceeded to beat my control paladin by pretty much facerolling, and he proceeded to become twice as annoying up until now.
So yeah, that's only one of the reasons as to why I HATE mech mage with a fiery passion. That's not even including the constant BS that goes on in ranked matches left and right. I'd imagine that a lot of you can relate. Sorry if this kind of devolved into a rant, but I just felt the urge to share this. Thanks for reading my little story! :D
Haha, that would definitely help with those 1-damage-from-lethal moments I seem to be having a lot of with this deck lately. I'm not sure what I'll replace though seeing how doomhammer has won me just as many.
As for Neptulon, he just doesn't fit the curve well enough as far as I can tell.
This helps a ton! Thank you so much! I just have a few questions.
1. If I were to replace one of the violet teachers, what would I substitute in?
2. Which do you suggest removing, Doomhammer or Al'akir?
3. What minions in particular did you have in mind for turn 3? Would spider tank work?
1) I'm tempted to say Gnomish Inventor since you lack card draw. It is a decent body, guarantees a card, and keeps the curve the same.
2) Depends on your meta and your preference. If you'd want the deck to be faster, then Doomhammer is best since it is cheaper. If you're scared to death of Harrison Jones, then use Al'Akir.
3) Spider Tank might be good. I'm personally a huge fan of Harvest Golem since Shaman really relies on board control, so you want as much stickiness as possible.
I'm going to be brutally honest, if you want to build the best burst deck you might as well be playing Mech Shaman. That deck is the best within the class since it has tons of synergy, Whirling Zap-o-matic, and Lava Burst.
I just made changes to it. Thanks so much for the help! Have you tested this at all by any chance?
Looks good! It certainly has the potential to work, although the deck certainly doesn't feel optimized.
My biggest gripe is Violet Teacher, which doesn't seem to have enough synergy to be impactful. This isn't Rogue where you have Preparations and Backstabs, so you need more cheap spells to get enough value from it. Right now you only have Rockbiter Weapon and Crackle. Maybe if you could add Lightning Bolts somehow you'll have enough spells to make it worth it.
Having both Doomhammer and Al'Akir in the same deck is not optimal. They both do the same thing (big burst finishers), so you only need either one or the other really.
Feral Spirit is much better suited for late game decks since it gets killed for free by a lot of the popular early game minions like Spider Tank and Piloted Shredder. It also messes up your curve pretty hard. You probably want something more proactive and less punishing to play on turn 3.

Violet Teacher makes the Bloodlust too obvious, not to mention that the tokens are easy to kill. Also you don't have cheap spells to generate a lot of them, so based on personal experience, i would trade one Teacher for a Windfury. Trust me, it works!
Thanks for the input! I'll try replacing one of the teachers with a windfury and probably the other one as well for a 3 drop to balance out the mana curve.
Any and all constructive criticism is appreciated.
The point of this deck is to get a bunch of small(ish) minions on the board and combo w/ bloodlust, flametongue totem, or rockbiter weapon and smash the face within 1 or 2 turns to win. I've had limiting testing experience due to my relatively low rank and busy schedule so I thought I'd come here for help. Thanks in advance!

If I had a dollar for every time I've taken a break from hearthstone due to constant aggro, I could buy a lot of packs.

It seems like a good deck, but then I saw Fel Reaver and was like NOPE.avi

Edit: Replaced one Violet Teacher for a Windfury
Edit #2: Removed Windfury, Feral Spirit x2, Violet Teacher, and Al'Akir the Windlord. Added Gnomish Inventor, Whirling Zap-o-matic x2, and Harvest Golem x2. Thanks to Sonserf369!
Edit #3: Removed Gnomish Inventor and added Jeeves

I found this deck to be better when I replaced Baron Geddon and Deathwing with 2 Clockwork Giants.
