The card is situational and happens to be good in most situations currently.  I was correct then and I am correct now.

Wrong, there were many "Nerf" threads about this card for a reason. It provides protection against any sized minion and can buff your dudes in the best case. Dude paladin was a tier 1 deck BECAUSE of him. And not just for weeks.

Right and you missed where I said earlier that it was an okay card upon release that just was made much better over time when supporting cards were released.  By definition it is situational, in that you need a board in order to create value trades or turn your 1/1s into 3/3s.

Per definition, any built around card like Tarim is a 5 Star Meta Defining card. It just cannot be just okay. Every non Odd Paladin deck wants and should run it.

Here is a list if you are looking for a Control Mage Deck to reach at least rank 5 and potentially legend (did it 2 months ago with this list) if you try hard enough. Did it on my own and it's pretty good so far. my best win streak was a 7-1 from 8 to 5, but that's expectable, 'cause of worse players.

Not immediately but for sure I will dust big portion of it. I'm not gonna say no to 10-20k dust #fuckwild

I already have almost all wild cards and 13k dust spare. Don't need any more new cards. I even started stacking up gold and am at 1k so far. And I can tell you: Wild is hella fun if you do own the cards to play. So I'd advise keeping them all (if they are at least decent or fun to play).

Particularly, I really enjoy playing Renolock. I'm sharing my current decklist. It's pretty tight right now, I'd only ever consider replacing Rotten Applebaum and Shadowflame for cards with similar utility.  Sylvanas Windrunner was a recent addition, but she has greatly improved my odds againt Big Priest.

Yeah, i have to sub in my sylvannas too after this nerfs, because big priest will shit on all other decks.

Leeching Poison was never the problematic card, it was Kingsbane's problematic card design in the first place.

Yes it was the problematic part, because healing every turn like you just drew reno isn't fun. It's outright broken...

    Quote from Psychoraiser >>

When a card is auto-include in every deck since the day it was released, it means there is something wrong with that card. All nerfs were correct.

But Nourish wasn't. Only UI and a few combo decks made it playable. I wish at least one of them would've not been nerfed. Didn't matter what of those two but Nourish should have left untouched because of UI rotating. Wild Growth on the other hand was too dominant. I have to admit this.

Whining against top tier decks, just because they are top tier decks, is ridiculous, even moreso in Wild.

Nerf what is stupid broken or exceedingly dominant. Wild needs that.

And sure Odd/Even decks contain some of that, but the whole archetypes, just because they are top tier? Why not all the other top tier decks then?

Nerfing what is top tier for the sake of it, is sheer salt, other than pointless (other t1 will come, what then?).

If you want a self-refreshing meta, go Standard.

By your logic... why got Aviana nerfed? If that's what wild needs- Crazy, imbalanced cards? I can't stand such comments with no hindsight.

I play fatigue priest. Avg about 15-20 mins per game, provided my opponent is not slow af

the fact that fatigue priest is a thing in standard proves my point.

Fatigue priest is standard ? lol. Are you even playing the same game ?

play vs a mechathun…. they pull out the mechathun and then it gets destroyed same turn, no counter to it

Even in standard this is really only the case against Mecha'Thun Lock (and even then some counters can still hit it).

Mana Wraith is a legit counter to Mecha'Thun Priest if you wait til their hand size is down to the appropriate level, rendering the combo unplayable. Same goes for Mecha'Thun Druid. The only thing that would stop this from working is if they were sitting on a 0 mana Pounce or Silence (which honestly they usually wouldn't do because this is not a common tech used against them). As warlock you should also always win against these two Mecha'Thun decks as control. Simply sit on Demonic Project and instantly win the game. If the Mecha'Thun Priest hemets and you play Gnomeferatu and you have drawn it you can also instantly win the game if you don't hit something like a Psychic Scream.

I'm fine with games being longer most of the time. If you have fast metas then you just run into the whole aggro/burn Yu-Gi-Oh metas where you end up not seeing almost any meaningful percentage of the released cards seeing play.If control or combo decks never live to produce a long game then you might as well not even release higher cost cards since they end up as wasted space. And as many have already mentioned fast games even more heavily turns the game into a giant coin flip that is even easier to predict the outcome of a game based on the mulligan you receive.

You can easily keep a silence to counter that "counter". That's not an appropriate counter, I'm sorry.

I'd rather see something creative like Reno Mage featured in this list. It has the chance to beat everything but has to be executed correctly. :)
