Im getting real tired of super long ass games , my favorite meta was back when egg druid was a thing , mainly because how you played early was super important, and the death rattles made it impossible for the opponent to just AOE spell to win. I guess board control doesn't matter anymore in this game
my games are lasting about 8 mins a piece with my tempo rogue, sometimes it will drag on to like 12 or 13 mins.
is this considered slow would you say?
I know I used to have much faster games with more smorc'y stuff like older token druid (the aggro one) and odd paladin (post level up nerf) a game would rarely go over 5 mins as you either won or lost fast.
I would advise playing a faster deck if you want to win games faster. also being able to counter what you're facing a lot of will help speed things up.
Just my insight though, I'm by no means a veteran and I don't even know all the cards for the current expac
(I like to sometimes discover as I go as it's exciting to see new things happen in game. of course you can't counter what you don't know yet, so you have to learn by playing and it's a fun way to experience new things)
Playing a lot of Control Warrior and Control Warlock right now. Most of my games go to Fatigue and I like it that way. At the moment.
I have an Odd Paladin in the wings in case I get bored... 🤔
can I see the code for your control lock please? just wondering what your draft looks like. I know they have stayed the same for a long time now, but it's cool to see what slight differences there are, as there's always a couple of cards that are different. you playing rin still? what about skull/lackies etc?
Is your odd pally a mech one? I built one of those on the first day of Boomsday. just changing it up a bit now and going to test drive it.
Different strokes for different folks. Not everyone likes losing on turn 5 to pre-nerf Odd Paladin. It is impossible to please an entire player base for any particular game. I don’t like 30 minute games either, but those are few and far between in my recent experience.

Id rather lose on turn 5 then lose on turn 35 , much less time wasted for the same outcome.... SAme thing with winning, Fast metas allow casual players to participate in ladder (55% win with 5 min games vs 30 min games makes a huge difference) Also this game is on cellphones, In previous metas I could pop in for 10 mins when I had a break, that's no longer possible because every other game goes to fatigue , and if you aren't playing a fatigue deck you are at a disadvantage.....

would zihi not help in freezing them out of half of their mana? we should have the tools to gimp them in there somewhere.
Just play a deck that wins or loses by turn 5 then? Something like odd hunter? I don't understand your problem really.
Edit: or is your issue that that isn't also the highest win rate deck right now? In which case that's just a personal narcissistic issue that you think the game should forever revolve around your preferred playstyle. Which is fine I guess, but I doubt it will change.
HSReplays has an average game-length filter - the ten most-popular decks on ladder average out to about 10 turns, ranging from 7.5 (Odd Rogue) to 13.0 (Odd Q Warrior.) Vicious Syndicate used to publish game-length reports at the end of every meta-game. They didn't post any this past year, to my knowledge, but by point of comparison, the current meta-game is about half-a-turn slower than Gadgetzan, and half-a-turn faster than Frozen Throne.

Omg.. seriously?
the fact that fatigue priest is a thing in standard proves my point.

First, there ARE decks fast enough for you and second deathrattle hunter is juste like your egg druid.
so play odd rogue/paladin then, games will drag way less.
Translation - I like games where you win or lose by what you mulligan....
No thanks - the slower META allows time for gameplay strategy, not just mulligan strategy.
Next expansion youll all complain its too fast
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
