I'm not sure what blizzard was thinking when they did this. They're fine with letting us see the hunter spellstone on 5 and rexxar on 6 for the next 4 months, so were a couple of tier 1-2 druid decks THAT bad? We already know the class dies in April, I'm really not sure why they would just go ahead and delete what was in my opinion the most unique class.
I honestly believe if they had just nerfed one of either Nourish or Wild Growth, the class would be more balanced than it ever was. It would be playable but it would be taken down a few notches to the point where it just had tier 2-3 decks.
Do people still agree with the druid nerfs? Or is everyone on the same page here?
(If you hate druid, don't respond. I don't want this discussion filled with biased opinions because a maly druid BMed you three weeks ago)
I disagree with the nerfs - wild growth should be deleted and naturalize moved to hall of fame. Are you happy now ?
Meta is finally released from cancer druid. Hunter spellstone (3 cards combo) --> duskbreaker (1card), wild pyro + cons (2 cards), flamestrike (1 card) etc... Yes Hunters are on the rise, but there are good decks against them. Also there are 4 different hunter decks, two without spellstone
The class had how many months of being tier 1 in both formats? Having that window of time cut down a little early isn't that unreasonable in that context.
However, I do have issues with nerfing things on the tail end of rotation, which happened with Raza & Patches last time. I see no point in doing this in pretty much the last hour of a card being in standard. If you think it is a problem do it a couple months after a card is released or don't do it at all, sooner is the reasonable option if you are going to do it anyway.
Now back to the Spell Hunter thing. Only spellstone could use a reasonable nerf (bumped up to 6 mana). Rexxar doesn't need changing. Losing to a card doesn't mean it is broken. After all, we aren't seeing the Gul'Dan infinite value train nerfed so why would Rexxar get it nerfed just for the sake striking a biased blow at hunters?
Too bad for all Druid players, you had more than a year of top tier experiences with Druid, the time has past, this is how Hearthstone works and you all know it; no Monarch lives forever.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
they souldnt nerf druids in the first place. now just play against more hunrter's spell stones and priest's broken duskbreakers and cancer psychic scream, that is so frustrating. i am not a main druid player btw but i never found druid a problem at all
^ Yeah I think it would have been sufficient to just nerf Nourish and leave Wild Growth alone. Ramp was never OP until Ultimate Infestation came into the meta.
They didnt nerf it because it was OP, they nerfed it because those 2 cards has been on every single druid deck except token since 2013

Ironic you mention the primary counter to the spelletone in the same sentence. If only Hunter had to face Priest...

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Druid has had something top-tier almost every season since the beginning of the whole damn game. Sit the F down for a minute and let everyone else have fun.
Nourish was not used in all druid decks lol it was considered slow 2 years ago and no one used it, it wasn't even in FoN druid. But you're a new player so you wouldn't know.
When a card is auto-include in every deck since the day it was released, it means there is something wrong with that card. All nerfs were correct.
But Nourish wasn't. Only UI and a few combo decks made it playable. I wish at least one of them would've not been nerfed. Didn't matter what of those two but Nourish should have left untouched because of UI rotating. Wild Growth on the other hand was too dominant. I have to admit this.

Wild Growth was never a part of aggro/token or spiteful summoner decks.
Nourish was played in niche ramp decks, but was not omnipresent before the nerf of Ancient of Lore, and was also not played it aggro decks.
I think the main reason for the nerfs is the many failed attempts at printing new ramp cards. I completely understand the nerfs, but I don't think killing off a class for 4 months is a reasonable price to pay.
Everyone complained about Spreading Plague UI and Branching Paths. None of those cards were touched good enough,Spreading Plague is just bad design at this point.
I loved all the Druid decks and played taunt, maly, token, and mechathun Druid all at one point.
I’m glad they are all dead. It’s been the same thing for almost a year with Druid and it’s time to move on. Now the meta can flourish with something new and fun

Nourish for 6 mana its ok.but Wild Growth its a core card for druid to be competitive .shouldnt be nerfed imo
