I recently noticed that under each news and before the comments section there is a small embedded twitch stream, while it slows downs the loading of a page on the pc a bit, it doesn't cause too much problems.
Unfortunately those also appear on mobile, and here(UK) the mobile data is quite limited and expensive and having those autoplaying when you just load the page and scroll down a bit, may eat up a lot of it.
I'm not really sure if that's some ad or they are there on purpose but in my opinion the best option would be to just not play them automatically when you scroll down, I don't think many people are gonna watch/follow them on mobile anyway, that's not what you visit hearthpwn on mobile for, at least in my mind.
Use opera browser on ad blocker mode. No more ads or twitch streams.
that's only a workaround, not a solution and it doesn't fix it for standard user that just checks the site on his phone and has no idea where his GBs went because of some twitch stream playing in the background
also I'm a chrome user and I'm not gonna switch browsers just because I have a problem with one site
also ads is what keeps this site running, and I don't mind the ads if they are reasonable
I'm sorry the late response here. These Twitch streams auto-playing don't seem very friendly, ESPECIALLY on mobile. I'll pass the feedback along and see what we can do for the next time this pops up.

I agree with the post above i have limited mobile network the autoplay on the streams just eats away my data ,you can leave the streams just have them on pause if the viewer is interested he can press the play button anytime
In my opinion they're annoying on the desktop too, for the simple reason that they have no relation to the news piece at all, other than the game being Hearthstone (although I saw PUBG being played as well). If you want to promote certain streamers, why not show a random one on the front page instead? Also, all video, even if it is on-topic, should be paused initially.
