Quest Hunter is still just as awful as ever. I have tried for about 10 games to find a way to give it SOME sort of consistency, but it just doesn't work. Aggro decks just body you while any control deck outvalues you. The only way to actually win is Deathstalker Rexxar at which point the Quest is pretty much a hinderance.
Don't weep for me, for I have endured great pain to bring you this message. Never, EVER, craft The Marsh Queen. If you go into casual matches, only pain you will find. I have never played such a frustratingly unplayable deck.
It's a shame, really, because Toxmonger isn't that bad of a card to be honest. If he's ever to see play, it will not be in an actual Quest Hunter deck, but rather in some very gimmicky Control variation.
The one time, THE ONE TIME I actually won via the actual deck and not just Zombeasts was against a Shaman who basically did nothing for the first 5 turns (except a few mediocre taunts) and I had pretty much the best possible draw you could imagine. AND HE STILL ALMOST CAME BACK.
When all of Hunter's cards were revealed I was very upset that they didn't print a 1-mana Echo minion to help complete the Quest without having to fill your deck with garbage, but I now realize that it wouldn't even matter in the slightest. Everything about this Quest is wrong and should have never been printed.
All i can say is that at the end of the day at least I can look to my lord and savior Walnut Sprite for guidance, and he told me to play Nutlock.
Yeah I played several games of a Baku version of Quest Hunter and it sucked. It still has the problem of running out of steam quickly and I just couldn't complete the quest in time despite having a more damaging hero power. Even with Ravencaller, the deck sucks. I've only managed to complete it once but I was dead against a Lady in White Priest deck.
I made a deck With Stonetusk Boar, Dire Frenzy and Tol'vir Warden (and some Secret+spellstone stuff), and it did pretty decent around rank 4. Has some good burst

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

try uneven face hunter it suprisngly strong
the trick is to use the 5 mana 4 4 that double your hero power damage on turn 7 so it can deal 6 damage to their face
I tried it out and didn't think it was too bad.
The quest reward is so good with the new legendary or Tundra Rhino.
Crazy good board control in the mid game.
More than a 1 drop with echo (which would have been absurd) I think they just need a really good one drop.
