Hey guys - just read about the nerf, and immediately went to flashbacks of my rogue deck being nerfed into the ground... twice. All well, that's Blizzard for you - take something fun and 'balance' it.
So, as the subject states - for those of you who will be moving on from your beloved patron deck, what will you choose next?

Since i can no longer play my Patron deck, i do have my Face Hunter, Mid Range Paladin, Secret Paladin, and eventually a Dragon Priest(Work in progress).
I used partially Patron Warrior recently. The deck was strong, no need to compromit myself here.
However, I've never felt like I relied on any particular deck to win. I'm just in a safe spot with Handlock where it won't be nerfed, it's still strong after all this time.
Patron Warrior will simply disappear. If you wanted to play the more winnable deck out there, you would just move to Secret Paladin I guess... or Midrange Druid...

Used to be a proud Handlock player.
Legend 17 times.
Still flirting with the ladder from times to times with Renolock.
I didn't exactly run Patron alone. It was one of my decks. I really liked it though. I'm golden hunter, and 100 some wins away from Golden Paladin, but I was going to use Patron once I got to rank 5 this season (started playing this season 2 days ago, hadn't logged on since September 15 before that)
I didn't moved on from patron a long time ago. However you have to realize it was a cheap, powerful deck. So now I assume many will go to another cheap powerful deck, like face hunter. Enjoy complainers.

The warsong nerf does nerf handlock though because you lose your best match up and thus lower your winrate. Sure its as indirect of a nerf as you can possibly get but its a little silly not to see the ramifications of the nerf when itremoves your best matchup.
Handlock was reknown to simply outrush Patron, I concur. But still... it's not a nerf to Handlock at all. Handlock is just, overall, the best deck in term of potent matchups. Secret Paladin is still a favorable one ... and many out there are favorable or even decent (60-40 ro 45-55) to make it a strong deck.

Midrange Pally, since producing recruits will no longer hurt me in 1/5 of my games. The 3/3 produced for each Recruit I pump out will be on MY side of the field 100% of the time now.
I made a Secretdin deck last night after making this thread, and I must say - wow. I've lost maybe, 3 games out of 12 or so total games played. It's actually quite entertaining from this end.

I don't consider myself a patron player, even if I play the deck excessively.
That said, in the end all will depend on how Handlock will do in the new meta, I guess. Because as it stands its the only deck left where RNG doesn't overwhelmingly decide the outcome of the game.
If Handlock drops out due to the lack of favorable matchups (and more aggro in the process) then i'm not sure what to play. Control Warrior, the next best thing, will be hit just as hard by the Patron nerf, so yeah.
Possible that I just take a break from Hearthstone for a couple months.

People gonna jump to the next cancer deck, like Secret Paladin.
Skillroar druid. You have 14 hp or less? tooo bad.
Not sure if hyped yet.
I'll have to make adjustments to my Enrage-totally-not-Patron-I-Swear Deck
I'll be honest.

Diff game, this is going right down the toilet
If they nerfed secret paladin along with patrons i could accept it, but "patron needs a nerf but secret paladins dont" is unacceptable for me
ARe they balancing a game around milions of players on ladder or 20 pro players?..
