A couple of things come to mind for me (and two of these have been said before the expansion launch, but it's even more evident now):
1. The music is fantastic! The homescreen music is really epic and sets a great tone for the expansion.
2. Brann coming back to standard was probably not the best idea. Too many really interesting cards - like Patchwerk or Shockspitter - become bananas when Brann is in the equation. (Shockspitter is more of an offender imo.)
3. I would love to see Sire Denathrius and Theotar just go the way of Genn and Baku just so that all of the really well-designed cards in MoLK can get some time to shine. The control-on-control matchups I've played feel like we're both just stalling and hoping to either steal or destroy the other person's Denathrius out of hand. While Denathrius hasn't been AS ubiquitous and Genn and Baku were, it is starting to feel like it's in the same league.
4. The Signature cards are a cool idea, but I find fault that they look a lot less cool than the Diamond cards (esp not being animated at all). For how rare they are to open out of a normal pack, I would have like to have seen more than just "here's a gray card."
So far I have been pleasantly surprised. I had thought that it was going to be a disruption-heavy nightmare with the additions of Patchwerk, etc. But instead it's been largely nowhere near as oppressive as I thought it would be. Blood DK, which I thought was going to be a stomper class has not been quite as strong as I thought intially (but still good enough to win most matchups with a little strategy and thought - this is exactly what it should be).
Still early days in the new meta yet, though and I am more than certain my views will likely change or shift over the course of the next few weeks as decks become more streamlined and tested.
My biggest disappointment though, is with how bad Weapon Hunter has been at the moment. It feels like it should work on paper, but it just struggles with board control. It is now the deck I am determined to refine until it works or I get mad enought to drop it lol
I've been trying out a few decks, and Death Knight seems too good in Duels, but maybe that's just my luck. I got the DK Hero that can summon a 1/1 with charge and reborn, and then got the passive where all my minions got +2/+2 and cost 2 more, so I ended up with a 2 mana hero power for a 3/3 charge and reborn. It was fun. Overall, I like this expansion more than Nathria.
Deaht Knight is a nice class, i really love they bring back the control feeling that Control Priest in the form of Blood DK (Like a really weird mix between Warrior and PRiest). Them again its a control class that cant dealt with 2 mana summon 12/12 stealh minion, without the 3 mana spell that kills the strongest enemy minion that well cost 3 mana and its not the card that you want to main deck. If any this expansion really give more reasons to dislike Over value locations like the one of Rogue and Demon Hunter.
Its impossible to compare the amount of value that you get from both classes vs any other location in the game.
To my surprise, I found DK to be quite mediocre in standard. Control Triple Blood XL seems to be the best archetype so far, but it's quite inconsistent and unreliable, especially in terms of a win condition. If you don't get Sire Denathrius or Alexandros Mograine early enough (or they get destroyed / stolen), it's very hard to close the game, because the deck lacks reach.
And there's one thing I really hate already - OTK everywhere! OTK Quest Mage, OTK Hunter, OTK Druid and so on. Losing 40 HP+ in one turn, from hand, feels awful.
Have you seen any Warlocks, Paladins, Shamans or Priests? I haven't met any so far, up to a diamond (EU server).
DK Feels Mediocre (in standard, but it's nuts in arena).
Scyte Demon Hunter is strong imo, although people should really move away from relics and build fel instead. Especialy since it's immune to Patchwerk, mutanus and Theothar (as you can keep your win condition in sould form, so even if they steal one, you can use one of the other 2 instead)
I Don't know how I feel about Concoction Rogue yet. A lot of streamers say it's good, but i'm not that impressed when i'm the one facing it;
Big Shaman Feels way too greedy to be viable.
Rush Warrior still feels a bit clunky, but i might not have built the right list yet, and when it works, it's pretty disgusting
Haven't seen Paladin yet, i've only seen old warlock imp lists.
Control is a bit hard to build right now (besides Blood DK), as I don't really know what to build against. So I haven't really tried it yet.
I haven't seen any mage yet, surprisingly (currently diamond 10). Nor have I seen any priest.
I've seen one druid using the armor cards, not sure what it wanted to do, it died before being able to do anything relevant.
Not sure about hunter yet. I got stomped by a quest hunter, but that deck felt a bit too weak to face something like a Renathal deck (or a Blood DK). Also i've been rekt by a candleshot hunter otk, and that deck looks strong. Not sure how consistent it is yet.
Yeah, The Candleshot OTK deck seems fairly consistent if it’s not adequately pressured early. It’s not that hard to do 30+ out of hand with Shockspitters.
How much are you seeing Rogue? (And is it good?) I haven’t encountered a rogue yet
Not often, to be honest. Barely seen one or two. So I cant tell you if it's particularly good or not from experience. I havent lost to one yet though. That will likely change soon enough! Haha!
The signature cards are so disappointing. They look awful.
The single biggest problem in the game now is Brann. Shockspitter, Denathrius, etc - all made horribly oppressive due to this card. It should be removed from standard immediately.
I have some faith with some light balance adjustments this meta could be good and diverse. But we are not there yet.

They just need to nerf Dena to infuse(2) plus other nerfs such as discardlock in wild.
The expansion is more balanced than most people were expecting, I think. There's definitely some nerf contenders but I think DK is fairly fine, lots of cards I thought were gonna be problematic really ain't for the most past. Mograine was the biggest shock there for me. Patchwerk is as good as I was expecting with cards like Heart strike, ashbringer and the battlefield necromancer all feeling way better and impactful than I first thought.
I was worried about 4 classes: druid and mage, I thought they were gonna carry on being as consistent, rogues deathrattle archetype and hunters shockspitter
Shockspitter needs a nerf, even if it's reverted in the rotation. 4 mana 3/3 or something would be better or even a cap on the damage.
Deathrattle rogue is really good and fun, not OP as hell but I wouldn't be suprised if scourge illusionist sees a nerf bc that carries the deck almost entirely. (The plague spreader meme deck plays out exactly as I thought, fun but terrible)
Mage feels fine to me but I haven't played it yet nor have I played against it much, so I can't say much about it.
Druids otk is nasty and the undead archetype is also really good so I wouldn't be shocked if there are nerfs there somewhere in the future.
Overall the amount of OTKs there are annoys me though. Control warrior is surprising competent dealing with them all! Considering that was the deck I played most back in GvG times, I'm always happy when it returns. Last game was against a heavy control BBB DK, and it was a whole lot of back and forth, crazy comebacks, powerful swings and a whole lot of fun that I ain't experienced for almost a year in Hearthstone.

Lich King is unplayable vs Rogue.

I also will be testing Big Shaman next...

Yeah I pack the 3-mana removal spell as standard in my Blood DK deck. It's perfect for the stealth minion since it doesn't require targetting.
How much are you seeing Rogue? (And is it good?) I haven’t encountered a rogue yet
as much as Ramp Druid the other DK counter or well more like "late game cunter" that can now more consistenly spend 30 mana before turn 9.

I thought we had a week to buy the bundle. Mine is out of the shop already. Did something change?
