If Mage, Hunter, DH, priest, and rogue all have viable decks on day one isn't that already half of the classes in the game being playable before any fine tuning?
I tried playing handlock...then midrange...every deck does 15 damage by turn 3..when it rolls into turn 4 im either dead or close to it, this includes using removal.

I think the pirate and mech tribes are just too powerful right now. Sure, four classes are doing well, but there a really only two decks: pirates and mechs. What makes matters even worse is that they are very boring decks.
This is finally a control meta wtf u talking about. Reno and Highlander are back in standard. Tons of heals and taunt. Play priest or paladin and you will destroy aggro with all these tools
Long time Hearthstone player here. I love the game, but I am so tired of getting beat by face decks and beyond stupid Warlock mill decks. I usually try to play a more midgame-control type of deck and nobody is interested in playing interesting games. Everyone wants to play the same old brain-dead, no thought needed, janky decks.
I'll play for the quests but nothing more this season. I would much rather play Destiny 2, LostArk, AC Valhalla or any other game. So disappointing.... RIP Hearthstone fun.
Dang you have a bad taste in other games lol. Take a break from hearthstone maybe its not for you anymore if ur already bored.
Everyone here complaining about mechashark but it's not a problem at all. The thing that makes it a huge problem is Seafloor Gateway. Being able to cheat two of them out on turn 7 with 5 other cheap mechs and creating a dumb OTK in an aggro deck is what the problem is. Mana cheating, once again...
It's a tribal minion centric expansion with some really obvious synergy, what did you think people would play on the first day of expansion?
Control decks takes time and knowledge to make, specially Highlander ones, how one could have knowledge on the meta, if there is no meta?
These kids thinks that slapping Reno Jackson into a deck and calling it day makes a strong control deck, only to come here crying because he got obliterated by common cards he didn't know existed.
My issue is that it is always the same. They keep printing cards with low ideas. They have to add ideas before cards. Mechanics, interactions with other things, new ways of playing HS, new win conditions, new totally new types of cards. Otherwise, it is not fun. It is always the same thing for years. Yes, there are new cards, but it is pointless.
The meta so far turned out about as I expected. Mostly old OTK decks and new aggressive decks. Value control is still largely a dumpster fire. We'll see how things pan out in the long run, but initially it doesn't seem like the way to victory had changed much.

I agree, but you can enjoy control warrior, he smacks them most of the time (D5-2). Just.. ark and destiny are trash games :D
“Uninteractive decks are ruining the game.”
”Slow, drawn out control decks are ruining the game.”
”Tempo/board based decks are ruining the game.”
Some of you need to realize you ALWAYS complain and it’s not the games fault, it’s yours.”

Might as well join the shit show
Lol, sounds like you having a hard time.

Almost everyone here has different opinions, that means the meta is still unrefined and lots of experiments are ongoing...

Some people just want to climb to legend, and experiment there, and aggro decks are the fastest way there.
what are you expecting to get out of this post?
I disagree with OP
I hated it last year when people would kill you on turn 5 everytime.
It's much better now that they can do it on turn 3.
no hearthstone game should last more than 2 minutes

these complaint threads are actually close to pointless
your argument is flawed and pooped
u should just say i don't enjoy the game at the moment for these reasons x y z
this probably needs to be considered or looked at agro etc etc
and the last and final I PAID or NOT PAID for this expansion THEREFORE I AM OR AM NOT promoting THIS HORRIBLE ISSUE
EG I PAID and want a good product
Or i don't pay and becauseof this it's hard for me to recommend this to my friends and more clients to blizzard

Just play Murloc Warlock.... I'm 12-2 right now.... with my only 2 losses coming from another murloc warlock
Your opinion was interesting until tou mentioned playing AC Valhalla
