i have a golden edwin. should i dust him now for 1600 or wait til the patch hits...do i get 3200 then? or does it not matter. i am only playing standard so i will dust him anyways
You could have dusted Edwin for 3200 dust when he was nerfed, Blizzard even warned about that. Even after rotation it will only disenchant for 1600 dust the golden version
but i don´t get it, why i could disenchant edwin only for a period of time for the full dust-value? i mean his nerf is permanent...?
The limitation is also very punishing on returning players. A lot of my cards were nerfed in absentia but I can't react to that at all. It should be two weeks to DE if you want after the first time you log in post-change.
Also pretty sure this also is true for cards that were Hall of Famed. A good number of my cards were HoFd while I was away and I am very sure I did not get the customary dust. It is small things like these that always somehow end up being to the players disfavour that have convinced me without a doubt that the HS team is primarily guided by greed not good gameplay.

hello,
i have a golden edwin. should i dust him now for 1600 or wait til the patch hits...do i get 3200 then? or does it not matter. i am only playing standard so i will dust him anyways

damn i missed that
but i don´t get it, why i could disenchant edwin only for a period of time for the full dust-value? i mean his nerf is permanent...?
That's how it works. When a card is nerfed you have a 2 week period to decide whether to keep it or take the dust.
Also, the nerf is NOT permanent, and even if it was the same rules would apply to the dust refund.
I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!
well can't expect an indie company to make the classic set full refund with the release of the core set.
no i dont speak fanboy, i wouldn't expect them to understand how retarded the dust return is.
So you're expecting a full refund of like 40k dust for the set and to keep the cards?
The limitation is also very punishing on returning players. A lot of my cards were nerfed in absentia but I can't react to that at all. It should be two weeks to DE if you want after the first time you log in post-change.
