I'm somewhat worried about Warrior's ability to be viable in the opening of Forged in the Barrens. Enrage and Big are losing 50-90% of the support that made those decks work, Bomb Face is just gone, and Control is losing Shield Block. It's possible that something N'zoth-y or Menagerie focused might work and get some support, but it seems shaky, at best.
I also don't really want to play OTK Control Warrior. I like classic Control Warrior, where I've got some big finishers, but something feels extremely boring about Silas/ETC OTK decks. I just don't enjoy playing them as much. Is that basically all that's left for Warrior post rotation?
The answer is probably the deeply unsatisfying "We will see." The new mechanic Frenzy will most likely be easier to trigger as warrior, and there are a few new rush legendaries that can be drawn with stage dive to great effect. There is also the new hunter's pack that warriors are getting too. I would be optimistic for a control warrior deck.
True - keep in mind, we're losing Inner Rage though, so a lot of the Frenzy stuff will be harder to activate than it would otherwise be. Maybe we start playing Whirlwind again? Or something?
I'm very excited for Control Warrior this year. A lot of strong control cards are still in standard (Bladestorm, Bulwark of Azzinoth, Kargath Bladefist, Rattlegore, Sword Eater from expansions and Shield Slam, Brawl, Armorsmith and Shield Maiden in the Core Set) and the Risky Skipper package rotates out, opening up a lot of design space. I hated the fact that every Warrior deck had to play the Risky Skipper package because it was just too good to pass. It made all these decks very similar and restricted the design space, since they couldn't give Warriors more good cards.

You like Big Bomb and you worried about classic control warrior position? Trouble Maker, Rattlegore, Prime, new Alex, new Ysera, Grommash. The amount of big boys you can put in your deck is ridiculous. Shieldmaiden replace Shieldblock is actually a good thing for the playstye, because you have a fine body to pressure before dropping big boys in control matchup.
With all their anti aggro tools intact, CW already in good shape before any card reveals!
it's a bit different this time around, Warrior is probably the class that stands to lose the most in this next rotation and the cards they've been printing for the class as of late have been... underwhelming to say the least
A little question. Will the free core cards br disenchantable because i have half of the cards and if i never need to remove them it wouldn't be fair to not get dust back.
I expect handbuff and rush are going to be a direction for a tempo warrior. And with many decks losing their board wipes, it’s reasonable to think minion focused play would be a thing. I think it sounds fun!
Warrior is definitely not the class losing the most. From classic/basic which has always been solid for warrior they lose shield block.
For example hunter is left post rotation with a gutted core set, and 3 year of the phoenix expansions that are all over the place, completely unfocused.

Strong disagree on hunter. Beast focused buffs with beasts that have abilities that scale off buffs has actually been a fairly consistent theme through the entire year of the Phoenix for hunter, but went unplayed because it was too slow to compete with Aggro DH and Rogue. With the rotation slowing things down a bit, Dire Frenzy for more copies of key beasts, three different tutor cards, and confirmation that Handbuff is something they're trying to support. I feel that hunter is actually in a fairly good place even without seeing the new set. If any class has a gutted core set with a very scatter-focused year of the phoenix it's mage.

The best (oftentimes only) hunter archetype in the past year was highlander though, and hunter loses basically all of that, being left with just what...face, without skill command and the rest of it?
Also dire frenzy was played because zul'jin, not because it's a good card honestly.

Eh... Dire Frenzy has potential in a slower meta, especially with how many beasts there are in the game, and with the new tutors they're introducing. In general, though. Without Weapon Rogue, Face Hunter, etc. being so prominent, there'll be a chance for something like Beast Hunter (which is already an OKAY deck) to be more powerful. And getting a bunch of 8/8 charging rhinos into your deck that you can pull out with selective breeder sounds pretty impactful to me.

we will see when 110 cards are revealed in the next few weeks

Maybe! Or maybe taskmaster. Probably augermerchants or broom now that I think about, but who knows?

The Divine Shield augermerchant definitely seems useful here!
Welcome to the set rotation. Old decks go defunct, new ones are introduced. And previously nonviable decks become more viable.
I'm hoping something tempo or midrangey, personally, ends up viable. Or a control deck that has a wincon that isn't just an OTK combo.

Animated Broomstick
Warsong Commander
True, but neither of those help Grommash Hellscream, which is an odd inclusion without Inner Rage.
I imagine we're getting frenzy activators in the set itself. Which will also apply to Grom.
