I really like dealing with 50 dmg on board on round 4. Seems very balanced and if you defend it, then expect another wave of full divined-shielded murlocks, then full board of carnival clowns 4 times over.
So much skill and thinking required really. Is Blizzard blind?
Maybe stop killing the murloc that pulls out Nozdormu before turn 4. Or better yet, silence it. Or if you dont have a silence, then realise the deck you are playing against and mulligan for a higher set of cards.
Ramp paladin is fairly strong when it God rolls out something good, but it's otherwise incredibly weak to most aggro decks and a reasonable control deck.
Pretty sure he is pointing to High Abbess Alura + coin/spell from Wandmaker which has no counterplay ...
Yeah, this particular play is very difficult to deal with. Thankfully, Alura is only one card in the deck and can't be tutored, so it's not super consistent.
But man, when they get it... it's rough.
I was lucky a few times when this happened to me I had Heart of C'Thun in my hand, which deals with most of the more dangerous murlocs, but that's just one wave, and also a fairly specific card to have by turn 4-5.
Until Ramp Paladin gets toned down, it's probably a good idea to run some good board clears in your deck, if your class has access to any good ones for 1-5 mana...
That fact that paladin didn’t have a good tier 1 deck for a good minute... I’m okay with the current situation, I said what I said...so give me that second wave of divine shield minions:)

Pure Paladin was fine. This deck just warps the entire meta and that's just bad.

Pure is good but it’s basically a deck blizz shoved down. It was already build and not a “real deck”. Believe what you want. But ramp Paladin is the real mvp

A combo that requires both having a legendary minion in your mulligan + 3 turns, and going second to get the coin? There's far worse effects that require less god-drawing than that out there right now. (in fairness)
In particular, something really needs to be done about Rogues doing lethal on turn 4-6 consistently without fail and having some of the most insanely strong cards in the meta.
Apparently most players only complain about big decks that can cheat out minions but never complain about aggro, because most players play cheap aggro decks.
I reached legend for only the third time in my play history with it yesterday.
In my experience, it loses to:
Tickatus Warlock
Res Priest
Aggre Rogue
Anything and everything else, it pretty much steamrolls. My boss battle at Diamond 1-3 stars was a Warrior, and i tore through him like fingers through wet toilet paper (sorry for the imagery, but the Warrior was BM'ing a lot, so yeah... eff him).
edit** according to the newest Vicious Syndicate datareaper report, it loses to Gibbering Druid. I honestly can't recall a single loss to any Druid deck during my climb with the ramp/Alura build.
My god, this is truth. If you are facing a Libram Paladin, there is a 100% chance, EVERY game, that they either have the attendant or FDoS in hand. ALWAYS.

It sounds unlikely but it isn't that much unlikely. There is a reason people run that combo, it is basically instawin when happens.
Sorry if I sound ignorant, but how did this deck happen? It wasn’t around before the mini set, but nothing in the mini set really added anything as far as I can tell. What changed? How did something this meta destroying just pop up?

That card suddenly makes the whole "pull 6-7 murlocs from your deck" even more likely to clear your board, then keep a 3 attack, windfury minion on board for the turn after, if it survives.
Kind of makes it an "answer this or lose" situation.

Do you talk about Standard or Wild?
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664

blad I play pure paladin and ramp paladin iz bare overpowered cuzzy.

@TicTacTimeHS apparently either you're trolling lr you haven't noticed what's (always) going on on Hearthstone forums.
paladin is fine blizz needs to nerf demon hunter, druid and warlock
The ramp/Alura deck is absolutely degenerate.

All the Paladin decks are good because Paladin has the best opening plays of any class right now.
Well, the paladin deck that is in question at the moment has a pretty slow opener. But the libram/libroom/pure decks do have pretty nasty openers.
If it wasn't for this new wave of paladin stuff, I think I have a 100% rate of paladin opponent starting with Aldor Attendant or First Day of School into Libram of Wisdom or Hand of A'dal.
It's just always there. Always.

Crabrider, apparently.
