I’ll never understand why I can’t get a good look at the skins before I buy them. There is probably a way I don’t know, but you would think that they would present them better in the shop. Same with the battlegrounds skins. It’s hard to be tempted into buying something when I can’t fully see what I’m buying.
The view from the design team vs the players must be so weird. The players get new cards and find broken/unbalanced stuff, and they start complaining. Saying stuff about how the team sucks and why didn’t they predict this. Then they have to look back on last years work and wonder how they missed that interaction while wondering what other stuff they missed in the next four expansion’s that are just sitting on the shelf. It’s like getting called to the principal’s office for last years homework. You might remember what they are talking about, or it might just honestly yah even slipped your mind. Must be crazy.
We should rather talk about the 3 mana 2/5 elemental from shaman at this point, if we talk about any standard nerfs at all right now.
Can't we let Shaman have something nice for a couple weeks before we call for nerfs?; and when we do, can we save our request for a card which is actually deserving and/or problematic? It's a class specific, 'average at best' removal tool which requires a stipulation to be met from the previous turn in order to be effective. It's a 3 mana, 2/5 which has the potential to be buffed to 3/6 with the whack-a-mole hammer if the right conditions are met but for the most part, we are talking about a 4 damage, 3 mana card which either dies after use or is left with 1 health.
If the class acquires an effective way to buff the minion into a sticky face threat for 1-2 turns after being played then we can talk but for now, there's nothing wrong with it.
I would agree with you, but I thought the same thing about crab rider… then everyone died. A slightly stronger windfury guy? Not sure he gets to stay.
These posts are so odd. Not even two days of the mini set being out and some people call the death of classes. Meanwhile, I’m thinking of decks like ramp paladin that didn’t show up, or at least get popular, for a few days after its mini expansion before it started ruining everything. Or libriams which were called trash by so many until people started actually using them. Or that evolve shaman from an expansion or two back that I can’t remember why it showed up, but it needed a nerf.I just really don’t get complaining yet. Middle of an expansion? I can get that. Enough time has passed. But now? Chill a little.
Wouldn’t midrange be nice? First deck I ever had any success with, way back in the day. As for what they will be doing, I have no idea. Core doesn’t seem to be leading them anywhere and spell hunter only really worked because of the bigger power cards that helped it. I’ve tried all the versions of spell hunter that exist now and they are mixed at the best of times. Hopefully smart people will make something work though.
That paladin deck still confuses the hell out of me. One new murloc and suddenly everything goes wrong. Now Alura, who was pretty good, is far too broken, Nozdormu is really good after being laughed at for expansions, and tip the scales is nerf worthy? The way this games works is so silly sometimes. Next you’ll tell me that Professor Slate is secretly too op. Strange.

See, I knew I was missing something obvious. Thank you.
that being said, that’s a long way away from the store to see what I am buying. Still seems counterintuitive.

So I know this is an angry post, but that ‘what’ at the end? Comedy gold.
also, I really love the visual of loading C’thun into a cannon, and him just getting infinity bigger as he is flying. It does need to be fixed though.

All I’m really missing is the rat king and one copy of rats of Extraordinary size. But they can’t possibly be worth crafting…..

So I’m not trying to make this a salty thing, but honest question. When was the last non repeat brawl?

That is the exact reason I wonder why everyone prejudge cards. Nothing is set in stone. Nobody really knows what will be good.

That is just crazy enough that it might work! It will at least make for a awsome clip.

So would that kill the Whichwood grizzly too? Or is his damage different?

Now that is an interesting question.

So this is hunters version of pogo hopper or jade stuff? If we get even more beast draw, then maybe.
