I am still hoping for Priest legendaries. I thought every class will get 3 legendaries, where are Priest ones? 🤔🤔🤔
I dunno if you're being snarky but there's already Gandling and the Abbess. Both of which are fine priest legendaries, just not for existing priest decks.
Which Priest deck ever will play Gandling or Abbess ?
I'm specifically looking for something for Rogue, as I don't want to just Galakrond my way through the upcoming 4 months. Some Deathrattle-synergy would be cool, or even something to improve Valeera's survivability for the early turns.
lol, i was thinking about this yesterday.
All these people hating on the new rogue cards. All they play is Galakrond Rogue..
Try Stealth/Secret rogue for a change, strong as hell or go have fun in wild with deathrattles.
Yes. 100% approve this message. It's really dumb that Highlander Rogue is one of the best decks in Standard right now and it doesn't really have any great payoff besides Zephrys. I like that the new set is giving rogue cards which fit in other more rogue-like archetypes like thief, stealth, and deathrattle. If Rogue got a 1 drop deathrattle, that would be amazing. Please. Pretty Please.
I don't play Wild, as I'm a dad with very limited time. I cut my losses.
The problem with a lot of the aforementioned archetypes is that they lack late-game win-conditions. Tess rotated, leaving absolutely nothing for the Thief-archetype (Bazaar Burglary is weak). As for Stealth Rogue, it's a good deck, I know that. I just don't like playing it. I like my decks to have a little more to it than just 'hide-and-strike', but that's personal.
Receiving a win-condition for any of the archetypes would get me to play, 100%. I'd love a Stealth Deathrattle Rogue deck. It's just not there now, in Standard.
Yeah I agree that rogue options are pretty limited in Standard right now. I'm actually going to try quest rogue again in standard after the expansion. Doctor Krastinov, Steeldancer, Secret Passage, and Wand Thief could all fit into that deck pretty easily and give it some nice additional value. I agree that the payoff isn't great, but it will be so easy to complete, I think you can fit it into a more aggro style rogue deck after the expansion. You can throw in skyvateers, lilian, vectus, and some stealth synergy cards to make it more of an aggro deck.
Though either way we're still missing quite a few cards from basically every class except Demon Hunter.
I believe there are only 6 pure class cards for each class. 4 dual class cards for each pairing so there are 14 new class cards for each class.
I could be wrong about that. I'm just going off of information I read from hearthstone topdecks.
There're already 7 Demon Hunter cards, so I think it must be 7.
It could also be possible that Demon Hunter is getting more cards than the other classes since they are new? Idk. On their site, DH actually have 5 more card slots than all the other classes.
Edit: Apparently I can't count.
What do you mean by card slots?
Anyway, if my count is right.
There're still:
3 more demon hunter cards 3 more warlock cards 5 more druid cards 6 more mage cards 6 more paladin cards 6 more warrior cards 6 more rogue cards 6 more shaman 7 more priest cards *10* more hunter cards And then 13 more neutrals
I'm cheating because a lot of those are dual class cards, though only 1-2 per class (outside of DH).

Tempo Buff Priest, Tempo Dragon Priest, Lackey Priest, Deathrattle Priest. So far all of these are getting a lot of great tools from the new expansion.

I was using https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/scholomance-academy-card-list-expansion-guide/ It shows the card-back for cards which have not been revealed yet. Hearthpwn has done that for previous expansions sometimes, but not always. Like I said' I'm not sure if it's accurate, but according to that site, DH is getting 5 more cards than all the other classes.
usefull common and rare cards is what i am hoping for.
tbh, that's one of the reasons I basically only play 1 class. A lot easier to keep up with all the cards I need if I only need Rogue and Neutral cards. I play other classes for quests sometimes or to try whacky combos, but thats about it.
I'd like to see at least two or three decent, low-mid cost beasts outside of Hunter. I wanted to play Beast Druid since Karazhan, and the new cards seem pretty cool, but even Beast Hunter isn't good anymore. There are surprisingly few good beasts in Standard.
And I hope that the remaining Priest cards follow the direction of Gandling and Alura and that there's more Tempo Mage support. I'm sick to death of Mage and Priest playing close to no minions at all for 6 turns and win with randomly generated stuff.
So far, the expansion is already looking good, and I'm looking forward to it. Too many cool legendaries to get all of them, but that also lowers the chance of getting really bad ones from packs. So, the remaining 50 cards don't have to convince me of anything. I just want to see new cards inspiring new decks instead of merely supporting existing ones.
Some efficient tool for my wild reno hunter to fight swarm decks' early snowball potential. Also some good beasts to draw with the new pseudo recruit spell in standard.

All those tempo decks don't work because of the lack of card draw and face damage. What makes you think Gandling and Abbess will make those tempo decks work without card draw and face damage ?
I dont think the problem with bazaar burglary is the win condition since dealing 3 every turn is pretty descent and wears most opponents down quick. Its actually finding oppurtunities that justify the weapon going face that is the problem.
Thief Rogue needs some more board control tools aside from blade flurry, but since actual boardclears are against the class identity maybe some more secrets or betreyal effects?
I'm really hoping for some new value weapon for rogue like necrium blade or cutlass to go with the new warrior/rogue legendary.
Maybe something that synergyzes with stealth minions or gives stealth for a turn after attacking, although the later sounds a bit insane bundled with the weapon man.

The new Wretched Tutor actually fits quite nicely in rogue. Easy to trigger with backstab or brain freeze and you can take out one big thing and a bunch of small things

Better? :p
TBH, I get you, although I don't play wild. Just seems odd to me Mage of all 'natural' spellcasters has the least draws.
Wiley Weasel, Book of Sorrows and Grandmeister Schbob.

All of the neutrals, I find them the most interesting part of the reveal process.

Warlock/Priest legendary: Discover a demon, give it: at the end of your turn take control of a random enemy minion. Or something like that.

I am interested in thief rogue archetype and spell mage archetype so relevant cards are good for me. if some new archetype pop-up I will look for it.

A big good demon (without a battlecry if possible) for my demonlock.. but turns out DH got it instead..so..
Idgaf about most classes, but i would love to see more librams and/or cards supporting this mechanic for paladin
