They should have left well enough alone. Actually had a pretty decent meta for a change, and then they go and drop a bunch of overpowered cards from wild into the mix and make a huge mess. Absolute garbage imho.
The first thing people complain about after a few months from an expansion is that "The meta has grown stale". They found a way to change that. Before, they buffed cards. This time, they brought back cards. Its fine to change things up. Just be happy they are only around for roughly two months.

I like the idea, just think its a poor implementation. Bring back stronger cards for weaker classes... not strongest card for strongest class

I agree with this. I do think some classes clearly got the shaft.
I really don’t like the event. Facing 10 Quest Shamans in a row and getting destroyed by Mogu Fleshshaper + Desert Hare + Evolve every time is boring and unfun. Not to mention the powel level of Priest and N’Zoth itself.
Yes it did. N'Zoth is down right broken due to the fact that Khartut Defender exists. Shaman got even more support with evolve and Bloodlust probably needs to be addressed during next rotation. It's also not fun to have rogue play N'zoth every turn for 30 turns after they can pull off their combo. Not to mention that Sylvannas and Emperor both fit in almost all decks and require immediate removal.
I understand why people think that. N'zoth is probably the reason why. Personally I like it (I'M a wild player anyway). But the most important thing for me is a variance of decks. At least I'm not encountering battlecry Shaman 9/10 times. Even in low rank they appear way too often to enjoy a diverse metagame, even though there's a clear difference in skills between lower and higher rank. E.g. people play that 3 dmg lackey card without having a lackey on the board, then they play a lackey and then hero power into the lackey generated card. Nonetheless, this is the first time I've actually enjoyed standard since the formats were seperated. Nonetheless, I do believe that cards like N'Zoth are frustrating and in a long term not good for the standard format.
Tbh, i kinda enjoy this meta. I am almost sad N'Zoth and Sylvana's will leave standard again soon.
Now i see more then one Priest list. When you fave Shaman (with any deck) just keep removing minions and you will be fine (most classes - except for Rogue - got AoE too). Only when Shaman draws the nuts it is an auto lose (but you lose almost against any deck which draw the nuts).
For a few classes i thing they picked the wrong cards to return to standard for the period of Doom in the Tomb. Warlock isn't really competitive at the moment - at least i don't see many. Maybe the best (N'Zoth) list isn't discovered yet...
After the Pocket Galaxy debacle, there's simply no excuse for leaving the meta in such a horrible state for so long.
Going into the update, they should have had a plan for removing any cards that caused a major imbalance, and they should have enacted that plan within two weeks of the patch.
In fact, they should have listened to the community -- many of whom expressed a great deal of reservation about N'Zoth and Evolve in particular -- and chosen different Wild cards in the first place.

I can appreciate the idea, but they definitely screwed this up. They wanted to spice up the meta for a short amount of time before the next expac. It's the same as the buffs we had earlier. It's cheap, quick, they don't have to design anything, and apparently they didn't think they had to playtest anything either. Shaman shouldn't be allowed to exist in it's current state. It does and we all have to live with the consequences. It's amazing how fast this meta got stale. It's only been a month and I already hate it. We have another 2-5 weeks of this. Blizzard probably isn't going to do anything. Probably won't even acknowledge the problem. 3/10 patch. Would've been better off without it.
I love the current meta. I am enjoying the shit out of climbing higher than I ever have before. I lose to N'Zoth decks at times, and Flamewalker decks at times, but overall I'm killin' it, and it #FEELSGOODMAN

Before, the meta ahdbeen among the healthiest it had ever been, with a great mix of classes.
Now, it's only evolve shaman, and variants of priest. Should Blizzard take back evolve and change it into something else, less meta defining?
The cards will be removed with the next 'major update'

6 more weeks.
Yep they broke shit by giving certain classes far more powerful cards than others because they were 'cool' or 'iconic'.

Not only have they ruined the meta but also the game.
Currently unplayable due to crashes on mobile atm.

I play on mobile every day. No crashes here.

I thought it finished on Oct 30? I don't 6 more weeks of N'Zoth :(
While you are crying im having fun playing a standard Malygos Hunter deck in rank 5
I'm sorry, it's my understanding that evolve nzoth and so on will be in standard until the next expansion (early/mid december). Is that correct?
