Boom is extremely OP card, everyone see this, does it really matter if we play this in 7 or 9? Maybe vs aggro matchups, but warrior has tons removals anyway.
Ok warrior cant use hero power immediately without coin but is it really significant difference? For me CW is easily still God Tier.
IMO it is one of the dumbest "nerf" ever, instead of mechanic changes they change cost.. really I see why so many people leave this game.
So many people had issues with the cost, the hero power rotation, and the rush aura for mechs. Personally, I think the card is just good, not broken, but they should have taken away Blast Shield. Boom isn't affected by a 2-mana nerf in the majority of matches.
This will eliminate Boom from all the galaxy brain players who default kept him off the mulligan and prove the power level of control warrior lies in it's excellent cards... which still net it a completely reasonable win rate. No deck in tier 1 is more than 2% apart from another. Compare that to a few expansions ago with druid at 60%+ and the next best at sub 58%.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.
There are PLENTY OF DECKS that beat control warrior, maybe take a breath and try one of those instead of just "auto conceding"
Actually only Quest Paladin.
And slightly favorite for secret hunter. There is NO other bad matchups (reno mage nerfed into dust).
sorry i forgot we're not supposed to count decks that beat it in the last expansion as well, chef nomi? mecha'thun? nah they don't exist anymore broski, we're in ul'dum now, but wait if old cards don't matter anymore then Doctor boom mad genious doesn't matter anymore either! Woah :O problem solved B)

Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!
it will ofc make the deck alot worse but it will still be a nice cards but not insane
what the fuck are you on? no it doesnt make the deck worse.
Obviously it does a lot. Having this card 2 turns later makes it a lot worse.
Passing up turn 9 is bigger deal then doing on turn 7 because the opponent will normally have a stronger board and additional he has 2 more turns to finish of the warrior. Keeping it in your starting hand is also a lot riskier now. Hero power can safe you far later.
Dont know how someone would not see that this makes controll warrior quite a bit worse.
The difference between 7-cost and 9-cost is enormous, and frequently makes the difference between a win and a loss.
Preliminary results suggest that Hunter has been catapulted into a gigantic portion of the meta space, and that it has a clear and consistent advantage in the warrior match, far beyond what it had yesterday.
I haven't won a game with mage or lost against it yet, so the mage nerfs seem to have been more than effective.
Enjoy the nerfs, folks.

Yep. I'm finding that I agree with almost all your posts. Jesus dude, stop being so intelligent ;) Also, you seem to post in the same threads that I intend to post in ahaha. Coincidence ofc.

my advice is just move on: you can't fix stupid. no point in responding to these genius game balancers who for some reason haven't been hired by blizzard yet (and that says something...)

It's actually a little disconcerting how slavish one can be to a narrative.
There's this weird conception that Control Warrior is an easy deck to play, and while we can save that easily falsifiable premise for another day, once someone decides that a deck and its players are somehow beneath the community at large, there is no set of facts which can break the presumptions that go with this mentality.
And thus, we have folks listing all the other cards in Warrior as evidence that the nerf will not accomplish anything. Which is a very strange bit of logic, as all these cards were present before the nerf.
Reno Hunter had an advantage before the nerf. The nerf has made the best card in Control Warrior materially worse. And yet somehow, there isn't going to be a shift. In the salt thread, you would occasionally see people claiming that somehow warrior would be STRONGER in the post-nerf meta.
Despite the years of practice, it is difficult to remember that reality plays no part in these discussions. Feelings don't care about facts.

Absolutely not the issue is the hero power and rush effect
Google search: Is Hearthstone free to play?
i now nobody playing this card Mojomaster Zihi, but 3 turns delay matters a lot
It does not matter at all imo. I've been hoping for rush effect removal... Meanwhile, it will still be a class you should auto concede against :<

I play Quest Paladin and I beat warriors a little bit faster. (80% win rate).

I hit 100 games since the nerfs went into effect.
50 of those games were against Hunter.
In 48 of those 50, I was playing Control Warrior.
