Hi. I'm Quest Rogue one trick pony, I've never played HS seriously and I butchered my entire 'collection' to make Burglar Rogues (Since ever). My question is, do you think it need a buff? It feels really weak right now, I only play casual but any meta deck will DESTROY me. I'm not saying that it should beat meta decks or be a tier 1, but I think it deserves a buff because now it feels very difficult to play. I repeat, I only play for fun and I think is one of the funnier decks to play right now (and ever!).
They certainly could have gone in a different direction with the quest - the reward just feels like a spectral cutlass reprint (I know it's not exactly, but it functions much the same way and you can't ramp it up, so why bother...).
Difficult to play =/= weak but I do agree Quest Rogue kind of sucks right now. Its a value deck in a class that doesn't have any built in longevity. You can't really tinker it into a full aggro/tempo deck because completing the quest requires you to play a significant number of value cards, which generate completely random stuff, while Rogue's identity doesn't allow it to defend itself effectively enough to follow a long term value game plan. Some variety of sustain other than Zilliax would be really helpful, maybe Khartut Defender is worth playing. Other than that I'm not really sure how you buff this deck, the quest is hella easy to finish but doesn't feel anywhere near as game winning as most of the others.
It's weak. I've been a burglar player for a long time now so I consider myself skilled with this type of deck. Let's just be honest, it always has been a weak deck but with the new quest it can go better IMO. I would buff it this way, the quest reward should be 'The 3/2 immune weapon and every card that gives you another class card let you choose from 3 options' (like hallucination). It will not be a huge swing but the possibity of choose between options can give you some more tools againts different decks. That's my opinion.

Emphasis mine, and I don't think there's much more to say on this topic.

Bazaar Burglary winrate and Rogue winrate as a class are pretty similar. Last expansion was an amazing one for tempo-style rogue decks, this expansion is Rogue isn't doing great in general. It goes like that, classes rise and classes fall.
However, it kinda looks like Tess Greymane has had a higher winrate in the past month than the months before, ~47% vs ~44%. Seems like the Quest probably would have a lot to do with that, a minor improvement to a still rather meh deck.
The quest is good people are just going full burgle rogue which is stupid. You just need to use standard stealing cards that are in a tempo rogue deck. That way it's basically tempo rogue with a 3/2 weapon
The quest is not a problem by itself, the reward is not that bad and is easy to complete, if rogue have the tools to control and survive a hero power can kill two minions with in two turns for only 2 manas will be very strong, but don't have mass removal to deal with crazy boards paladin and mage can make or a hero card to play the value game vs shaman and warrior the only route left to rogue is trow the quest away and build an agressive tempo deck what is kind of hard after the class be nerfed to the ground in your pirate packed.
Instead keep nerfing classes with good (not so much left now) classic set, like druid and rogue just release a new classic set for each 2 years and rotates out, much more elegant solution.
Quest feels ok to me. Sustain is absolutely the biggest problem it has though, so many games I play as cautiously as possible with my health total but by the time I stabilise it's just too late to come back. I think that is partly due to the Hunter's significant presence atm as well as clear problem cards like prismatic lens and conjurer's calling which are likely to be nerfed soon.
If they were going to buff it one more attack on the weapon would be good since so many minions have 4 hp atm (but it would almost definitely be too strong as an aggro tool then). Better yet change some of the cards that add random other class card to your hand to discover effects. Blink fox and bazaar mugger would be much better cards with a discover (plus it triples your chance of finding healing) and perhaps clever disguise could discover a class to get spells from.

I think the Quest is hopelessly bad.
I play a highlander Quest rogue that is pretty decent. I think it will be 'buffed' due to other classes (warrior, mage) getting nerfed.
They certainly could have gone in a different direction with the quest - the reward just feels like a spectral cutlass reprint (I know it's not exactly, but it functions much the same way and you can't ramp it up, so why bother...).
If you like rogue i'd stick to tempo.

reduce by 1 cost all the cards from another class during the game once the quest completed
This is great.
When the quest was first revealed, half the community already screamed to nerf it.
Two weeks after the expansion launch, the card isn't super op, so it's bad and must be buffed of course.
This card is going to be in Standard until 2021, I think there is a pretty fair chance, it will find a spot in the future.
Nope.
Quest completion gives you a 3/2 weapon with Immune and Lifesteal.
Too much lmao.

There's no issue with the Rogue quest.
