What is the most powerful combo (i.e., most damage deliver to your opponent's hero) that can be achieved assuming you've 10 mana to spend, any 10 cards in your hand (ignore any class restrictions on cards - so you could have Prophet Velen and Fireball), the board is clear, and neither you nor your opponent has a weapon equipped at the beginning of the turn.
Any combinations should not rely on random events (e.g., no Mindgames summons Malygos, etc.)
ATTENTION (but see immediately below): Bouncing Blade isn't appropriate for this exercise. Either you are relying on a random event (Bouncing Blade killing some other minion) or it won't yield any damage because Bouncing Blade will keep going until it kills the minion you are intending to use to deal damage.
ATTENTION 2: Bouncing Blades can be appropriate when coupled with Commanding Shout!!! :D
Throw in that 0 mana warrior card (Inner Rage?). Also, I don't want to go through it all, but what about Thalnos + Sorceror Apprentice x 2 + Coin + Gadgetzan Auctioneer + (Preparation + Fireball) x 2 + Frostbolt x 2 + Ice lance x 2 + Sinister Strike x 2 + Eviscerate x 2 + Mind Blast x 2 + Holy Smite x 2 + Arcane Shot x 2... I'm sure missing a lot, but that's a ton of damage right there haha, I think that sits at 72?
Edit: I realize this relies on the random event of Gadgetzan Auctioneer, but with that much card draw, I think it's reasonable to assume this kind of combo could happen.
Try that again but this time add in commanding shout and bouncing blade ;)
I wouldn't really include Windfury because if you 1-hit the hero, the second attack doesn't get to activate.
But yeah, Berry's suggestion would definitely be better than your combination. Gahz + Prep-Charge (8 Attack) + 2x Inner Rage (44 Attack) + Commanding Shout + Prep-Bouncing Blades (6 Hits then stops = 2816 Attack) We can then use the last 2 cards in your hand for; 2x Moonfire (11,264 Attack)
-----
Although, my combo would rather be classic; (Dupped two Sorc Apprentice earlier in the match) Archmage Ant + Coin + 2x Innervate + 4x Sorc Apprentice = unlimited Fireball While you'd only get around 5~ to the face (pending armor), the overall potential damage is infinite.
For a duplicate-less version that works (as long as you don't have extra monsters in hand for ancestral call) see page 2.
And yet another version with even no variables! Uses Summoning Portals! (Best method yet for this)
4 Preps, again I don't think it counts. Actually, you can take out the two Preparations for Commanding Shout and Charge and replace it with just one Innervate, then it'll work. Damage should actually be 524,288 with that combo. Good for a 9 card combo. Dunno what other 1 card would boost it higher... inner rage? 655,360 damage with Inner Rage first.
For an 11 Card, 70 trillion damage combo, see page 2.
I suppose I should have added that you are subject to the limitations of card amounts (i.e., only 2 of non-legendary cards and only 1 of legendary cards).
Yeah, you would be able to restrict Bouncing Blade if you didn't state that the board was clear.
But since it is, Commanding Shout + Bouncing Blade will hit the solo monster repeatedly; but stop once it reaches 1 health. Thus it's controlled for this exercise.
Again, Bouncing Blade combinations rely on randomness and aren't appropriate. And if your argument is if only Gahz'rilla is on the board then there is no randomness then I agree but Bouncing Blade won't stop until Gahz'rilla dies so that combination won't yield any damage.
Gahz'rilla ends with a whopping 26 Health and 28 attack, then when Bouncing Blade is cast, that 28 doubles 25 times.
28 x 225 = 939 524 096
Think we can hit 1 billion?
Bouncing Blade won't stop until Gahz'rilla is dead so how will this combination result in any damage to the opponent's hero? Also it uses 12 cards whereas you can only have 10 in your hand.

If you want to run 11 card hands by gambling on PW:Shield...
Gahz'rilla (3 Mana Left) Commanding Shout (1 Mana Left) Preparation Charge Power Word: Shield (0 Mana Left) Innervate (2 Mana Left) Innervate (4 Mana Left) Divine Spirit (2 Mana Left) Divine Spirit (0 Mana Left) Preparation Bouncing Blade
8 Attack, 44 Health 8 x 2^43 = 70,368,744,177,664 I think?
(Changed from a 12 Card combo w/ Sorcerer's Apprentice to 11 Card with 2x Innervate. To allow Bouncing Blades to work)
Edit: You can also remove Power Word: Shield from the combo to make it 10 cards, and not reliant on drawing. Would make 36 Health = (8 Attack * [2 ^ 35]) = 274,877,906,944 Attack. Not quite as high, but no random chance of drawing.
If you can have cards from multiple classes why not more than 2 copies of 1 card (Lorewalker Cho or arena) EDIT : ok, if you have restrictions...
This will work if we take out two of the preps and replace them with two innervates and the coin, this combo is still possible. Im also pretty sure that this is the most amount of damage possible without antonidas.

Best I could come up with initially was: Gahz'rilla + Preparation + Charge + Whirlwind + Preparation + Windfury + Elven Archer (target Gahz'rilla) + Whirlwind = 128 damage
Bouncing Blade makes this a non-thread...
I refuse to come up with a creative signature.

Twitch name: Anatak15
NA Legend Season 48, 49, 52, 53, 54, 74
+ Inner rage
Gazh'rilla (7), Power Word: Shield (1) x 2, Preparation (0), Charge (0), Inner Rage (0) x 2, Coin (0), Commanding Shout (2), Preparation (0), Bouncing Blade (0)?
One of the PW: Ss draws into one of the other 8 cards. Not unreasonable at 10 mana. Or simply remove an Inner Rage.
Time to get the calculator out...

And we have a winner

Two too many Preparations...

Bouncing Blade combinations rely on random effects so they aren't valid for this exercise.
I suppose I should have added that you are subject to the limitations of card amounts (i.e., only 2 of non-legendary cards and only 1 of legendary cards).
Not when combined with Commanding Shout
I refuse to come up with a creative signature.

The best new combo, some will call it visionary, some will call it insanity...
Wisp + cog hammer
Gahz'rilla, Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Coin, Commanding Shout, Power Word: Shield x 2, Divine Spirit, Inner Fire, Preparation, Charge, Preparation, Bouncing Blade.

Change this to:
Archmage Antonidas x1
Sorcerer's Apprentice x4 (from Duplicate)
Innervate x2
The Coin
Which is infinite damage, and doesn't exceed the limit of 2 of one card type per deck, and you have the best combo.
If you want to run 11 card hands by gambling on PW:Shield...
Gahz'rilla (3 Mana Left)
Commanding Shout (1 Mana Left)
Preparation
Charge
Power Word: Shield (0 Mana Left)
Innervate (2 Mana Left)
Innervate (4 Mana Left)
Divine Spirit (2 Mana Left)
Divine Spirit (0 Mana Left)
Preparation
Bouncing Blade
8 Attack, 44 Health

after 1 bouncing blade use an ancestral healing to fully heal then bb again. toss in a windfury for fun too.
