Here are some examples: The Undead Horse hybrid would be at 51 HP/Damage despite the full enhancement being 102. It was very close to a pre golden stat. So I assumed it was a glitch - this happen once in a while. Doesn't really matter since no one care about battleground rating.
Another one is that turning minions into golden with Naga/Pirate hybrid will cause the Naga to not generate a spell next turn if you casted it on a Naga.
I think there was a mass firing of QA in Blizzard due to outsourcing reason. On top of a sudden burst of bug that why I mentioned it.
I assumed the golden naga was intentional since the minion essentially transforms into a new one.
There was a task where I had to either kill X minions or deal Y damage with Varden's 3rd power (the one that just freezes unless the enemy is already frozen, which has a cooldown of 2). It was brutal as the only way is Jaina into Water Elemental (a 1-cooldown ability) into that, extremely slow
Ok, dreading that since I don't even -have- Jaina. JUST completed the Sylvannas one.. this took over 4 hours.
..and yeah, that Varden task shouldn't even exist. There shouldn't be any task that's literally impossible to complete without also possessing a different legendary merc.
This was also my least favorite. I read there was actually a way to complete it by fighting a minion that froze your mercs and then targeting that merc and hoping you hit the right one - but it sounded super painful. For me it was easier to grind out Jaina.
Definitely agree! And building the deck as you go is extremely fun. I went back and played some arena and almost forgot - after a win you get nothing but... a tougher match...
Deathwing was oppressive before the nerf when it was +3. Now it's challenging early game but by I find that by end game the buffs don't scale enough to keep up with minion scaling.
I disagree. I really don't think Altruis needs to be nerfed. Sorting by winrate when included into a deck, it's the 15th best card, below offenders like Warglaives of Azzinoth and Priestess of Fury.
I've said this in other threads, and I'll say it in this one too. Altruis the Outcast is a combo card. Combo cards work very well in specific situations and are near-useless in others. The reason why so many people hate Altruis when there are more powerful cards is that whenever the opponent DH plays Altruis, it's because they have already set up a situation where Altruis is good. What you don't see is all the times when Altruis doesn't have the proper setup and ends up screwing over the DH's hand, because the DH never plays Altruis in that situation.
As a software development manager, my guess is that PVE content takes a significant amount of development and testing and often requires that many of the cards are completed anyway as the new bosses will often use them. They essentially have 2 approaches - they could stagger the releases or wait until both are done before releasing.
The advantages of staggering the releases are that they get revenue sooner (always good for a business) and that they are able to release in smaller chunks which is always safer than trying to do a "big bang" release.

Deck worked great, thanks! Quick win (opponent conceded after I attacked with a 14/15 Trogg and put down a Braggart).

Just to add, you don't have to complete all of the tasks if you have enough coins. Just up to task 7 to unlock.

Holy old thread! Looking forward to this game, I foresee many hours spent playing every class.

Maybe, but it seems a lot of work to get a slightly higher MMR just to play against tougher opponents.
