Manners are a set of expressions, gestures, movements, attitudes, etc., that a person uses to behave in public and with other people, especially according to certain commonly accepted social rules.
Lately, many players have appeared especially when playing aggressive decks behave like eight year old children who spend their time passing with their mouse the hero, ropping and the most common saying Well Played or Thanks to the greeting as a way to brag. I do not understand why those emotes say when their rivals could not or did not do anything significant in the game but I already understand why people ask for auto squelt and that's where the BM comes from.
Is there any way to punish those players for their bad behavior? My solutions: -I chose a card from your rival's collection regardless of the rarity and add it to your collection. -Lock access to the game for hours -Prohibit emotes for hours * Depends on the level of toxicity *
With your suggested punishments, you appear more like an 8-year old than the opponents trying to get to you with emotes.
You call them pedantic in the title, but none of what you describe is pedantic behavior. If anything, your excessive concern for the social rules in this game, as shown through something as minor as (squelchable) emotes, is what comes off pedantic.
I'd suggest that anyone who gets so upset when an opponent "rudely" clicks an emote honestly needs to stop playing the game. The OP hasn't discovered that "aggro players are bad-mannered eight-year-olds" - though presumably, some of them are. Rather, the OP has discovered that he lacks the temperament to enjoy playing card games, though he hasn't yet recognized it. If he continues playing the game, and bitching about it, he should have the honesty to admit that it isn't the game that's causing his problems, but his own unwise decision to continue playing . . .

If you do not spamm constandly when playing a pure smorc deck, you do not know what honor is!
Greetings traveller!
Man, how much I love being spammed by BM aggro players and not respond at all, until I manage to make a come back in the match where I bombard him/her with emotes. Do you know what 70% of them does? Rage-quit(your opponent left)

What do you think of the BM?
BM is ok the way it is: you have the Squelch tool; if you don't use it then you can't complain
I think you’re softer than baby poop
Another post from generation snowflake,,,,,,,sigh

Exactly this...
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
Auto-squelch option would be good.
Imagine being triggered by emote on children game
Just make this aqqount for finish the quest!
Bothering and getting bothered by the social aspect of a game with almost none is pretty silly.
Focus on the game, Squelch at the beginning if necessary, and have fun your own way.
Hahaha man please don't start playing a game with actual speech option like League, it wouldn't end well for you.

GLHF.
People like you are the reason other people BM. Because they know it bothers you.
8 year olds be 8 year olds . /shrug
Ahh another locked thread.
All of that is in your imagination. Players have the time the game allows them to have and the meaning of emotes is your interpretation. Well played!

I always hope Blizzard give us a permanent Squelch option
Or just click twice in the space of one second. Because, you know.... Its easy?
Or even better, grow up and ignore the 'Nasty nasty little man' who says Hello. 🙄
