I, like many other players , use deck trackers just as a simple way of managing card play history and play timers. However, with the new card Death Grip I fear that unless something is done, we're going to have a massive user purge.
For those who don't know Death Grip pulls a card from your opponent's deck and puts it in your hand, a secret benefit of this card beyond its base power is the ability to not know what was stolen, preventing alternative play styles if you knew what was taken. With deck trackers that benefit is null, as you can see what card was taken from your deck list. This is now exploitative.
Unless the current deck trackers devs hotfix this issue asap, we may be in a situation where deck trackers themselves can be viewed as cheating. I have attempting to wean off the deck tracker for the time being unless blizzard has come out to say they're still fine, have you all tried the same?
And if you weren't informed about it, the tracker probably wouldn't be able to tell you about it. Trackers aren't pulling the server data to determine what cards you have. It uses the game log and visual information (read; what you actually see) to give you the information it provides. That means anything not hand given to you by the game via log or the screen can't be determined by a deck tracker.
The only way that a tracker would have an advantage that a player couldn't reasonably do is if log data showed information you couldn't get from the main game (i.e. if they hid a card from your sight but the log said what it was). That IS possible, but unlikely given that Blizzard knows (and accepts) what we are doing with the log files and have no need for the file to show information the player doesn't naturally know. It's easier for them to hide Death Grip's card from the log than it would be to change the graphics to hide it from the player.
Point is, what the tracker can and can't do is controlled by blizzard so anything that gives the tracker a real advantage will be both a bug and something easily fixed.

I've seen WowHobbs' stream and he saw which minion was stolen by his opponent.
When my minions were stolen, I got to see what they were.
You get to see what was stolen anyway.
It's a non-issue because you get to see what gets stolen anyway.
