Here is something I noticed that was interesting...
First, they don't show you who the hero portrait was before the transformation into DK Uther, however for all others we had seen the previous hero.
Also, the hero power during the transformation seems to already be the 4 Horseman hero power, and just changes into it AGAIN.
It seems as if the hero had already changed prior to this video, meaning that they either had 2 hero cards, or Lich King himself did something right before.
Edit: Could be wrong and the transformation animations could be different for DK Uther, but it still seems odd.
Also, it could be possible that he has 8 health. If you look in history you can see 3 minions traded, and if you assume they all went into Arthas (and wasn't an overkill), then it would be 8 health. 5 (4+1) attack for chillwind, 2 (1+1) attack for Stonetusk, 1 (0+1) attack for the totem = 8 damage.
Also, Arthas was played the turn prior to the DK being used. That leads me to believe Arthas' effect is "Battlecry: Draw a Hero Card from your deck".
Or less than 8. Yes, we can see 3 minions traded, but maybe the Lich King summon Ghouls at the end of your turn or something, and the enemy minions Kill the token and the Lich King,
Also, the Jeti remains on board, so what attack it have? Something bellow 4 I think.
Almost 100% it a battlecry. Look at the order. he summon then the effect activate
It's not a battlecry, when you play a battlecry minion there is not the little flash next to its art in the log, this happens only if it does something at the start or end of your turn, so LK does something at the end of your turn, and imho it doesn't interact with hero card cuz you can only have 1 in your deck so there would be no reason to not make it battlecry.
who says it has to be "at the end of your turn"? it could be an effect like frothing berserker or an interaction like whickerflame burmwistle card

The paladin player does nothing after playing the lich king and I don't think there are any activators that trigger on their own besides end/start of turn.

Actually, we don't see LK's Hero Power. The clip starts with Uther's HP flipping during his animation. But you're right that it's odd that we don't see Uther first.

5 mana 2/8, if your deck contains all 3 princes, draw your hero card?
I hope it's a 5 mana 3-8 battlecry: draw a hero card.
I really hope it's not that... :p
Given the details and the princes costed at 2 3 4 respectively, the Lich King is a 5 mana 8 health creature and at least 2 attack, that probably has a battlecry AND an end of your turn effect. The battlecry may be the draw of the DK, but the end of turn effect I think checks for something. Even more in deep thinking may be that he has this text: At the end of your turn, if your deck contains no 5-cost cards, draw your hero card.

Yes your threads ended up merged because they were about the same thing. Sorry about the confusion there.

Bright-Eyed Scout
Not that Blizzard would get away with not having him as a Legendary collectible, nice catch regardless!

Lich King, 5 mana 2/8 "When this attacks and kills a minion, resummon it on your side of the board."

Edit: oh yea

Doesn't have to be a card. Probably Some LK specific trigger effect from LK fight in upcoming adventure content.

Did anyone actually think he wouldn't be a playable card? Seems obvious he is considering the whole expansion revolves around him...
