ZiombalaBoms has a very similar card in their Alexstrasza-variant minion, but they haven't submitted her so you're still technically okay I guess.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
There are a couple of hero-Health swaps floatin' around, so frankly it's not very original. But to be fair, the Submission thread has at least a half-dozen or more cards that basically amount to the same thing as other submissions.

I think I've seen some similar ideas but nothing exactly like this, let me know if it's too close to anything.
The idea would be you swap heroes — that is, portrait, weapon, and power — but it's an ongoing effect so it ends if the minion dies, to get around the problem of it being un-interactive.
Would be mostly just a weird tech card I guess. Any thoughts?

An amusing idea, but the card itself is rather vague as-to what is actually happening. What do you mean by "hero"? Are we switching places on the table? What about our life values? You could say separately that the minion exchanges the portrait, weapon and power of the two players, but the card kind of needs to be the one telling us that, you know what I mean? An effect should not be open to interpretation, and this one arguably could be.

Okay, some random cards again (sorry about the art, I just happened to have them lying around and thought they fit. I'll find 'proper' ones later). I haven't looked through the threads yet, so sorry if any of these have already been done.
Fall From Grace: TBH I just thought it was a cool idea. Obviously great for an Inner Fire combo, or just for making a massive minion and then healing back up with Reno/Amara. Holy Messenger: Not super sure how to explain the reasoning behind how this works, but it makes a lot of sense in my head XD
Since this week's theme is very restrictive, I've lowered my standards.
Banshee by Lathy (page 1) - First version
Spellstealer by Phoenixfeather (page 3) - I hesitated for this one but I appreciate the fact that it's a counter to Reno/Razakus Priest and to DKs in general.
Maiev's Agreement by joedarke7 (page 4)
Dune Devil by ShadowsOfSense (page 4)
Shadow Deceiver by Demonx95 (page 4) - The 5mana 3/3 version.
Void Juice by NOVEXOR (page 5)
Solemn Arbiter by TheProgenitor (page 5)
Twilight Siphoner by kegstandetc (page 8)
Luminous Phoenix by Cogito (page 15)
Fall From Grace by Mewdrops (page 16)
Cards I'd vote for with modifications:
Body Control Tech by Svagocorp (page 1) - It would be balanced even withtout the restriction. I know it's a reference to MCT but it would still be best without.
Elekk Cavalry by Shaveyou (page 3) - Too explosive as it is, but I think it would be balanced as a 5mana 5/5
Double Cross by Cogito (page 5) - The other cards's links are dead so that's the only one I can evaluate. The art is not Warcraft-y enough and I think it would be better as a Shaman card.
Nexus-forged Axe by Soulbattle (page 8) - I would change the name and art because it doesn't look like a Shaman weapon.
Rafaam, Depraved Racketeer by RycDac (page 9) - I'd love to obtain card backs I missed so I'd love to have this in the game. Despite this, there are too much Rafaams in the game and I would prefer if you took another character altogether.
What about this? Giving out a vanilla Alarm-o-Bot would be utter garbage 'cause it would be destroyed in seconds, so I made a better one. Gelbin, High Tinker creates a "super Alarm-O-Bot", which he can take advantage of each turn but only until it is destroyed by his opponent (or Hexed, Polymorphed, etc. etc.). There are a number of inhibitors:
It is more expensive than a normal Alarm-O-Bot.
If there is no Mech on the table at the time of the Battlecry, he won't have enough mana to drop it that turn.
It only-ever works once per round, like a normal Alarm-O-Bot.
It can only pull Mechs from his hand, restricting what it can put onto the table.
It could theoretically have no benefit if the opponent immediately answers it on their next turn. If that happens, the hero card provided all-of 5 armor, the new (meh) hero power, and I guess a one-time Time Rewinder. Not worth 7 mana lol.
This variant hopefully rides the line between a supremely-OP immediate effect and a perpetual value machine without a counter. I think it also maintains the flavor of a Mech-synergy hero building + perfecting his robo-army.
Edit: ...considering some of the absolutely OP/nonsense cards I see get submitted to these contests, I often wonder if I'm putting too much thought into balancing my cards lel.
Edit2: If an Alarm-o-Bot with Immune is still too much, I could drop it down to Elusive and Divine Shield or something. It's supposed to be hard to kill, so it's not worthless. Running out of space on the card, though.
Im very confused as to what u intended here:
1) U get the Mech Maker 3000 into your hand and then it swaps with a random mech? I guess u mean a mech on the battlefield, but its not clear at all, or doesnt look like it.
2) The minion is Immune, there is no way your opponent can kill this off, since he cant even target it, so no polymorphing ... only way to get rid of this is Mass Dispel.
Im not sure this is a good change, it feels very slow, like u pay 4 mana, to have a minion played (Which might not even be a high cost one) and then that minion cant even attack anyway. I suppose it could be mby an interesting way to help trigger Mimiron head, since u would have one guaranteed mech on the battlefield, so gettin the rest might be easier ... tho not sure how would the start turn interactions go off, in which order .. but it shouldnt matter, since it just switches mech for mech.
Probably too good for any kind of Divine Spirit+Inner Fire combos, but if u make the health too low, its kinda very useless card, so not sure how to balance this one, mby 10 mana? But that is also mby too punishing :F

Not sure whats the point of this? Does it swap hero powers as well? Or is it just for discover purposes?

Fall From Grace: that is one broken card haha ... this + inner fire on a minion that can attack and if u had high enough HP, pretty much GG ... or slap couple divine spirits to rise the HP high enough for OTK, yeah no ...
Holy Messenger: im not sure if it was u, but i could swear i saw a card with same or very similar effect already, that had divine shield and windfury and swapped it to another minion. Balance wise, probably too strong, since u can chose the minion, so u can either go face hard, or get some super good trades for just 3 mana, actually like 1 mana, since u do get a 3/2 body as well.
Well, I already submitted this, but still I'd like to hear some thoughts on it.
If you play it with no armor it's a little weak, a 0/4 taunt that gives you 4 armor but it's still good vs aggro. If you play it on curve and you have 2 armor on turn 3 it's a Hot Spring Guardian. And after that you could play it as tempo, like on turn 5 after a 4 drop like a Bloodhoof Brave you could make it a 4/4 a 6/4 or even more depending on what you've played earlier on.
I like cards that interact with Armor, but im not sure about this one, so pretty much an "ideal" situation would be to Armor Up on T2 and play this, or coin and armor up twice before playin this .. in that case, this should probably have 5 health. Later on ... u can combo it with cards that give armor to get a cute taunt, but my problem is, u r losing your armor, that is not a thing u want to do most of the time as warrior, so its weak/uselss for an aggro/midrange deck (since they dont want to hero power) and kinda completely useless for a ctrl deck if they dont play it on curve with hero power T2, cause in late game, it eats all your armor.
Cute card, but probably too strong. Also wording typos: "effects of your cards". Mby it should be even spelled out like "of cards in your hand and deck.",
One thing i LOVE about this card is, that if u play 2nd copy, it switches back ... that is amazing flavor.
Ok, so i made small adjustment and created another version of the card (didnt make one for a minion, there is too much of that submited already):
Also i got another idea, surprisingly enough, noone actually made such card yet (or submited rather, i saw something similar in here as a spell, tho just to steal the hero power, no way to reverse it). I imagine this card mainly as an arena card, nice way to get mages/rogues hero power for example and get advantage of that for yourself or denying it to them for a turn or two. It could ofc be teched in vs some DK hero powers, tho probably not as efficient, since it is easy to kill ... tho u could combo it with silence, but that feels like way too much investment vs just (mby) one match up (priest, looking at u) ... tho mby this would be a good counter to it and if u wanted to completely shut him down u would have to run subpar silence cards yourself :)
The deathrattle wording im not sure about, but i didnt want to just say "swap them back", for the purposes of like when this card gets dropped from evolve etc., "restore" means it would simply put them as they were, into their original state and if u got this card from a random generator, it would basically do nothing. Thoughts?
Question for the mods: Is a card acceptable this week simply if it has the word "swap" on it, even if it uses the term incorrectly? Blizzard only ever uses "swap" when you are switching one preexisting thing (card, stat, text, etc.) with another preexisting thing. Both of the swapped "things" still need to exist after the swap. I'm seeing a handful of entries that are using the term "swap" when the correct terminology for their effects should be "play" or "replace" or "transform" etc.
For example:
- "Swapping" a minion with a random murloc is not correct because the original card just disappears and the random murloc card did not exist before the swap. What you mean is "replace."
- "Swapping" a minion with a random murloc in your deck would be correct because both the original minion and the new murloc existed both before and after the swap
I'm hoping cards that aren't using the term correctly will be disqualified. It's a very narrow theme this week, meaning the real challenge is trying to be creative within those narrow confines.
So this is what I'm submitting, reluctantly accepting Cogito's criticism over multiple targets (cancelling could be accomplished by right clicking or double tapping on the battlefield, I feel):
So you could choose an enemy minion and swap its deathrattle with a random enemy minion... which might be good? More likely you'd use it to try and get a good deathrattle off of your opponent and onto your own minion...

3 mana 3/3 is the best due to effect that does nothing turn this minion was played. So play blank 3/3 to get (maybe) cheaper Spell. Gadgetzan Dealer is cool too, but I prefer your first idea and I don't really like swapping Hero Powers.
Ok, thanks for the feedback (and others too), i think i will go with the original idea after all then, even tho it is a bit awkward, i still like it, so lets see if others like it too :)

I know what its supposed to do, but it feels a bit wierd still, like it seems that u could choose any minion, not just a deathrattle one and also that the random enemy minion who would u swap with might not be a deathrattle minion. I mean ofc they both should be, but the card text feels like its not very clear, that they have to be. Im not sure u can specify it better without adding too much text or making it cluttered, but just my thoughts.
ALso someone posted a similar idea, tho his feels super forced to fit the rules.

I dont rly like this change tbh.
Whoops, you're totally right. I forgot Immune also gives a pseudo-Elusive effect. Well...shit. I frankly don't know how to fix it, then. Didn't care for this iteration anyway; was brainstorming an alternative to the first form, something that might be more appealing to this unflinching panel :/
I officially surrender...unless someone has an idea on how to change the original version, I'm probably just going to submit it as is - OP-ness et all. Considering some of the other cards in the thread, it won't be that out of place.

This theme was a lot less fun than I expected.
How I would improve your design:
Just give Gelbin "Battlecry: Summon a Mech-Maker 5000.", the swapping makes it unnecessarily complicated, unless you intended a specific interaction that I miss here. Also, having the Swap mechanic on a token qualifies for the competition imo.
Give Mech-Maker 5000 Stealth instead of Immune to allow more counterplay since 4 Health is still hard to deal with on its own on Stelth minion.
Try to find some better artwork for Mech-Maker 5000 and Gnomish Ingenuity. Having a white or black background makes a low quality impression. Maybe you can find something that would justify the Stealth on Mech-Maker.
Don't post the Gelbin hero portrait, but just the hero card itself with its effect, token and hero power. Everyone can imagine how it looks like as a hero portrait.
I hope I could help. Don't give up too early!
Unfortunately, until we get some clarification I kind of have to assume that "swap" needs to be on the card itself, don't I? The swap is there because it has to be there. If a token counts then that would have saved me a lot of headaches lol. Stealth is a good idea for the Mech-Maker.
The picture for the hero power is the Gnomean crest; I'll try to find a picture of it with a "real" background.

Any general opinions on this?
I think I've seen some similar ideas but nothing exactly like this, let me know if it's too close to anything.
The idea would be you swap heroes — that is, portrait, weapon, and power — but it's an ongoing effect so it ends if the minion dies, to get around the problem of it being un-interactive.
Would be mostly just a weird tech card I guess. Any thoughts?

Okay, some random cards again (sorry about the art, I just happened to have them lying around and thought they fit. I'll find 'proper' ones later). I haven't looked through the threads yet, so sorry if any of these have already been done.
Fall From Grace: TBH I just thought it was a cool idea. Obviously great for an Inner Fire combo, or just for making a massive minion and then healing back up with Reno/Amara.
Holy Messenger: Not super sure how to explain the reasoning behind how this works, but it makes a lot of sense in my head XD
Why Rogue is my favourite class:
My submission for this week's card design competition.
Alright bitches, it's review time!
Cards I'd vote for:
