Just saying that The Skeleton Knight should resummon itself instead of returning it to your hand. Probably one of the crappiest legendaries as it is. 6 mana for 7/4 is bad, then its positive effect is return the bad minion to your hand??? I just don't think it's a well made card.
The Skeleton Knight is incredibly powerful and not to be over looked or underrated. Yea you pay 6 mana for a salty dog, but if you build the deck correctly it will never die. If you have the capacity for imagination with this card and the skill to use it it's incredible. There are no bad cards, only bad players (with the exception of a few base cards like magma rager of course).
In arena this card gets potentially infinite value, the card would be OP if it were any better, it doesn't need any changes and flare alone makes printing this card fun. It's very underrated though.
There's 400+ other underplayed, unused cards in the game that could take up the same argument of getting buffed. Blizzard isn't going to buff anything random just because you opened a crappy card from a pack so you can utilize it in a deck.

I would love to see your super innovative and awesome deck that runs this piece of s..t and have success in the current meta.
That card might become staple once Undead becomes a Tribe which most likely will, for now its just trash
Some cards will only become viable once new content is developed and that is Ok, some cards that seem terrible* now will be buffed indirectly as new things are introduced into the game, we have several Undead minions on the game but Undead is not a Tribe yet, once it become a Tribe and has it`s own thing this card might actually see play.
Yeah I was about to say, Undead/Scourge will probably become a thing once Lich King hits which might buff him in some way at least. Well it depends if he counts as Scourge (I assume so?).

100% disagree, If you're making a deck to support this card your win rate will be below 5%. "If you build the deck correctly it will never die". Im sorry, it does die. It dies and you replay a 6 mana salty dog. That's painfully bad. It produces value? Ok, but you're still gonna lose if you're investing 6 mana into a four health minion every turn.
"If you build the deck correctly it will never die". lose first joust ---> concede
Skeleton Knight is horrible. Think about it. For Skeleton Knight to gain value, it has to win Joust. Skeleton Knight can provide long-term value by keeping winning joust so you have 'infinitive' cards to play. However, For winning joust, you need a deck with a mana curve. A deck with high mana curve is best suited for long term value. In such deck, it is doubtfully if there is enough mana to play Skeleton Knight. Not to mention Skeleton knight is horrible card stats wise.

Jousting usually nets you a nice positive effect. Your reward for skeleton knight, is you can spend 6 mana again to summon a salty dog (minus the pirate tag). Even in ramp druid it sucks.
Even if it resummoned itself for winning a joust don't know if people would play it, at least it would be a fair card though.

Incredibly powerful it is not, but it isn't as bad as many make it out to be. It's basically an acceptance of some chance for tempo drop for a fair chance of (we'll assume it is used in greedy control) card advantage, plus it draws removal.
Obviously it can't be used in decks that could never afford tempo drop.
Try it in CW , win Joust 3 times vs Drago priest keep the last one until fatigue so GG But now i got another one from 12 win arena pack rewards . I think i'll keep it for now , def should be buff IMO
He can't be 5 mana because he'd just be power creep of Salty Dog and Blizzard is already getting enough crap about that from other cards this expansion even if they are unplayed.
Resummoning himself? Sure, a ramp Undead deck once it becomes a thing could probably run him. I hope The Black Knight becomes Undead as well, since I like the concept and the card.

He really doesn't need a buff as he is pretty strong but even if he was printed as a 5 mana 7/4 with the same ability it wouldn't be a problem because A.) Salty Dog is a pirate and B.) Salty dog doesn't see constructed play so it isn't power creep.

A lot of cards in Hearthstone should be 'buffed'

Staying true to your name, well done.
The fact that you need to use 6 mana again to summon him makes him shit tier.

When they release the Undead Tribal, in a future expansion, the card might have added sunrise that may make it better.
At least that's what i'm hoping, because i got a golden Skeleton King and I'm not mentally prepared to DE it.
I Have No Time for Games
it's plain crap, joust sucks as it is
Say "Wow" for RNG!
I like the idea of the card. He has never lost a joust in my all legends deck. But still, I wish he was five mana rather than six.
