First of all, I don't believe you when you say you faced 24 shamans in 30 games.

Secondly, if you are facing them so much, why not make a deck that stomps on Shaman?

Lastly: aggro shaman is extremely overrated. If you pack any kind of removal, it just rolls over.

I agree that aggro shaman is overrated but that isn't the deck anyone is talking about. Xixo's list is a totem midrange monster. Very hard for most classes to deal with the board state they create...then recreate. You sound pretentious while talking out of your ass.
Every class has removal, just remove their threats and they can't do anything to you. It's pretty easy to make a deck that stomps out shaman of the meta, they really just aren't a decent class right now as none of the buffs from WOG make them remotely viable.

posted a message on What Decks do People Think are the Best Right Now?

There is no way to tell yet, the expansion has only been out for a mere few weeks. We didn't even know what the best decks were before the expansion and likely we'll never know what the best deck is before the next cards come out. It's pointless to even wonder so early. It takes a least several years to even get a repetitive and large enough sample size to give a definite answer, look at street fighter 2, many years later T hawk became great after new corner infinite knowledge so we can really never know.

People are excited to play them after begin non-existent for pre-WOG expansions. They are just the flavor of the month as shaman is pretty weak atm and will die down over time. I'm already starting to see significantly less of them as the weeks pass.

posted a message on Blizzard has utterly failed with the new expansion

Zoolock, aggro shaman and Divine shield paladin are among the hardest decks to play right now. They require so much set up and tweaking of cards in your deck to tailor to the current meta it's not like just anyone can play them and expect success. If you made it to rank 5 with aggro shaman maybe you are talented in the way aggro plays and it in tune with your play style or you don't understand control. N'zoth paladins more common anyways and Zoo is a control deck with a lot of planning ahead to play correctly.

A single point of damage missed or mistake is game costing for aggro decks though so the skill cap for those decks are pretty high.

posted a message on FACE! FACE! FACE!!!

Going face has never been a viable option in this game, the games are slower than ever with WOG. Just kill their minions or heal if you hate face decks they aren't strong. I'd say the need to apply pressure and every point of damage mattering makes decks like face shaman or face hunter more skill intensive than control decks anyways who just clear the board and have no worries what so ever.

posted a message on Disciple of C'Thun good even without C'Thun Deck?

SI agent is also 3 mana, also does 2 damage but is a 3/3 body. I know class cards have an edge but Disciple  should be a 3/2, then it might be a lot better. C'Thun decks are dying out since the only decent card in the deck is twin emps.

Pretty bad card honestly. Vanilla creatures don't work in constructed and this one is not only vanilla but also has a draw back which is pretty sad. If it had an ability like Master of Evolution it might see play but with Big Game Hunter even at 5 mana also being a card this card is utterly unplayable.

     Retarded comment detected.
Why is the comment "retarded". This card doesn't make the cut, it's way to slow for face shaman decks and it doesn't have an immediate effect for overloading you for 2 mana. Vanilla cards are bad period and have no place in constructed. It's a good arena card yes but after people are done experimenting with cards for fun it'll phase out.
On ladder if you answer it with shadow word death, deadly shot, mulch or aldor the shaman loses the game so the card is both easily countered and leaves you too far behind. If it had a battlecry or a deathrattle you'd see this card everywhere.

posted a message on Why aggro is allways more succesfull than others?

Aggro decks have never been more successful, just look at tournaments they are pretty rare. The Old Gods heavy nerfs to aggro killed aggro decks so games are painfully slow. Maybe when direct damage is increased, hand size at the start of the game is increased and healing cards are reduced (forbidden healing should be 1 health per mana, healing wave should joust heal for 10 and heal for 5) aggro might stand a chance.

posted a message on New Rogue Card - Blade of C'thun

Rogue decks don't work with C'thun as they have no board clear that's good enough for constructed, other class Cthun decks will just be better. At 6 it just might be playable but even then it's not unfair enough so 5 mana would make this card a standard include for rogue decks. Think about it you only want to kill big minions anyways so BGH gives you a 4/2 body for 5 and removal. BGH is neutral and has been historically 3 mana, for a class card that is supposed to be superior to a neutral a 5 mana 4/4 removal has 2 extra health and does roughly the same effect. Maybe 6 mana to be on the cautious side but at 9 mana this card is utter trash. Rogues got nothing this expansion

It works like Shroud in Mtg if you've ever played it. While it cannot be the target of spell or ability AoE spells do not target Faerie Dragon so they can damage the card. Similarly to Spectral Knight .

A card like that would most likely have poor stats, so it wouldn't be too troublesome to remove.

Even with poor stats, it's directly weakening a specific type of card and that nerfs deathrattle decks. The card wouldn't be effective against most other decks, so in relative play it only harms death rattle decks, thus you are specifically nerfing them.

posted a message on the REAL unhealthy mechanic in hearthstone

    Quote from batanete >>

What's unhealthy for the game is noobs making threads on this forum whenever they lose to something they don't like and blizzard actually backing up said noobs more often than not, hence why we went from having a deck like patron warrior on top to something like secret paladin.

I agree, this is a complaint thread and nothing is going to come of this thread full of QQ. Stop whining and L2P, there aren't any obliviously bad mechanics in the game. /Thread
Sad day pattron got nerfed, that deck was pretty decent but only really won 50% of the time it wasn't even that special. Secret paladin isn't that good though, it doesn't have a single good match up vs competitive decks, Secret paladin is pretty much extinct from ladder so I can agree with you that secret paladin could definitely use some kind of buff to get back in the meta.
Agreed that SP isn't the best deck in the game any more, but my point was that we went from having an actual deep, skill intensive deck as the best in the game to something that a 7 year old can get to legend with. And I actually acknowledge this even though most of the decks I enjoy playing were owned by patron warrior on a regular basis.
Secret paladin requires a lot of thought and deck set up though. I'll agree it's not the absolute hardest deck (probably face hunter since you have to calculate and plan every single point of damage ahead of time and play to the wire) but it's tied among the hardest to play. Patron really wasn't a harder deck to pilot. It takes time to learn the aoe combos and clicks but a good secret paladin requires just as much if not more skill than Patron warrior. Yea a few games you'll blow the opponent out but you can't always play exactly on curve, and you have to maximize juggler damage, play it first then react accordingly. Patron didn't have to deal with RNG mechanics or setting up a board for secrets to be optimized for your opponents turn. You actually have to think about how the opponent will act to effect the the way your secrets activate.

posted a message on Mysterious Challenger is OP. Nerf!
    Quote from fabisco >>

this thread has something obsessive to it ... your favourite class is priest. Secret pala is NOT a favourite against either Control Priest or Dragon Priest - it is not only me speaking here, but a "common sense" on pages like tempostorm or liquidhearth (or even the world Championship: Thijs brought Dragon Priest as a counter to secret pally). So why so angry about that Deck, almost all your posts are about the deck, you should be able to beat it, even using your favourite class (a favourite which is about to get a super strong card in Museum Curator by the way...)?

P.S. And sure, there are the unbeatable draws with secret keeper or the Dr 6/7/8 but almost every tier 1 deck can have these nut draws (combo druid killing you on turn 5 anyone ...) and eypecially in secret pally they come at a hefty price (the lovely 3 secret starting hand for example)

Pretty much this, dragon priest decimates Secret paladin. Secret paladin really isn't a good deck it has so many bad match ups it's disheartening that it's vanishing from ladder since it's hardly playable. I can't think of a single decent deck it has a good match up against. Even with the grail draw you still lose to removal, a BGH and silence pretty much blow out your entire strategy, if MC costed 5 perhaps there would be some extra time to avoid removal but atm the deck is already dying, please don't drag it through the mud any more than it has to.

posted a message on Deathrattle disruption card

That would nerf deathrattle cards though... why would you want Blizzard to nerf something that's working fine. Maybe some better stat distribution creatures to trade with death rattle minions would be better but printing cards to counter a specific ability, format or mechanic is a direct nerf.
