Even if he get silence or kill command it did his job. Silence make a poor turn 4 and there is still a 2/3 body, it is much better to silence for the killing blow. Kill command don't want to be wasted vs a 3 drop taunt. The hunter doesn't develop the board or a bow doesn't play something to buff his undertaker and use one of his way to push for damage much much earlier than needed.
That just mean that your second taunt doesn't get easily dealt with. It is clearly a control card and those deck rarely have only 1 pair of taunt. I never play my first taunt vs zoo or hunter thinking it will save me but more it will buy me a turn, I always assume it get hunter mark or soulfire. The thing is if this is my first taunt (turn 2 + coin or turn 3) instead of a tazdingo then they will have one less way to deal with my second one, a tazdingo or the sludge belcher. Slowing down the zoo or hunter 1 turn earlier can make a world of difference even if i would always assume they would deal with it.
Also there hunter or zoo usually mulligan very aggressively for the undertaker + 1 or 2 drop deathrattle they will mulligan away removal. There is a good chance that they won't have any when this card is played. Even if they keep a removal for it then they sacrifice 1 card of mulligan option. I really like those tech card that can counter a meta that bank on one mechanism so much.
How exactly do you think sideboards are going to work in tournaments in their current format? Sideboarding is pretty lame if you get to include cards to specifically counter your opponents deck. I would puke if i heard someone say: "Oh no, i lost vs this deathrattle priest, better stack my next deck with cards that will enable me an easier win!".
Can you imagine if both people were able to sideboard? Crazy, I know. It's clear you have never played a game other than hearthstone and I don't see why I should have to provide several pages of why sideboarding is a good thing.
I don't like it very much, it's reasonable only if there is a deathrattle minion in play and even then its a 3/4 for 3, like the little mech dude. And that one is a mech.
If there's no deathrattle in play it's worst then Tauren Warrior.

I can see how some people don't like the idea of sideboarding, but for me, it would add a needed layer of strategy to tournaments. Of course, the current tournament structure of hearthstone does not work with sideboarding, but I think that the current format used in tournaments (Even in the world championships) isn't the best.
Any way, sideboarding or no, I really hope Blizz adds in game tournaments - would love to see what they do with it!
I like it, it's a good answer to the current meta - but I suspect it will be a lot like the Weblord: great while the meta is in flux but subpar once it stabilizes.
under the assumption that undertaker is still the same broken shit after gvg im wondering why no one is crying power creep. in the meta of today this is really close to tarmogoyf
Good way to deal with Undertaker. This card and Purifier are totally meta defining tech cards. A lot of deathrattle agro decks in meta? N.p. just put this in your deck and feel safe. Deathrattle hype is over? Okey this cards can be changed for others. Like Blizzard approach on this.

Sooner or later there going to be daily ingame Tournaments, like in Starcraft. We only need patience and we can not expect them to implement every single feature within first year.

This is not even close to Tarmogoyf.
this needs a hard removal or snacks your board, and if there is no way to deal with it then it pummels you dead, all for 3 mana. its really far away from anything we have at our disposal right now. goyf was the same in this regard. and if the meta won't go away from undertaker then yo will be hard pressed to play this card in any deck. same like goyf. sure the big difference is that this card will go away when deathrattle aggro does thats why i said "under the assumption".
No way this is a Tarmogoyf. The scariest part of goyf is the fact he play based in both sides, and cemetery, something few decks can deal with. Lil'Exorcist worth based of how unheeding is your opponet, and rarely will gain more than +1 against a control decks.
I can see this card has some real potential in the current meta, with all those decks that run undertaker and what not. Hopefully it still has a reason to be played once GvG drops and all these new cards enter the picture.

You apparently forgot it has Taunt. The Spider Tank does not have that. For that reason I feel it is strictly better than Tauren Warrior. It's enrage effect is not relevant in Constructed play and also very rarely in Arena.
You see this card and imagine playing it against a hunter with a classic cancer opening, and that would be okish unless owled. I see myself playing this against a miracle rogue with an empty board or in front of an innervated yeti. Yes this card can be good but can potentially be awful is my point.
Taunt doesn't really matter in the early turns and for overall deck quality i believe i'd rather tech Explosive Sheep then this.
It will come down as to how the decks will look like in GvG, but as of today i wouldn't play it because there's no guarantee it's gonna get buffed.
…not exactly the answer we needed. More like the one we deserve. In this meta, this will probably just get Silenced and that'll be the end of it.

this card looks great, people will probably start playing 2+ silence

My comments refer mostly to the wild format.

I heal people to death
At worst its a 2/3 taunt. At best it can be a 6/7 if the opponent has 4 deathrattle minions on the field.
It will definite see play on the ladder if Zoo and Hunter continue to be prevelent.

What daily in game starcraft tournaments?
There will be plenty of deathrattle mechs, such as Clockwork Gnome, Piloted Shredder, Piloted Sky Golem, Sneed's Old Shredder, and Harvest Golem.

Well I just figured out what Sabotage is for.

mulligan plus sideboard of 3-5 cards. please implement blizz. could get really cool.
Good card may invalidate itself though yet to be seen I suppose, since all the mech options available.
In other words the fact that the counter exists may prevent it from having things to counter. Seems strong enough to do so.
Yes Blizzard, please implement mulligans, they're something that we really need. :kappa:
