Been playing a villain, prelate, undatakah occasionally for a week and just realized i put a useless 2 drop in my deck because it doesnt stick. The minion that give taunt work as I expected.
It's because the shield typically gets broken before it dies. If an Immortal Prelate died while it still had it's divine shield intact (i.e. if it was killed by Twisting Nether), the shuffled copy should still have divine shield when it is replayed.
An enchantment counts as the text buff that you see when you mouse over a buffed Immortal Prelate. Argent Protector doesn't give an enchantment, it just puts a divine shield on the Prelate. In my Prelate deck I use the Mechano-egg instead of Villain as an 8/8 is bigger than an 8/5. (and it has synergy with Zilliax and Kangor's Endless Army)
Old news to me. Trying to use new cards, Villain has a pretty strong dr but at the same time seems like a awkward card.
As far as your explanation that is spot..I just kind of dont like it. not sure if i want to run the 1 cost divine shield spell. Potion was card draw as well so sooooo much more useful.

Potion of Heroism worked
Minions that give keywords act differently than spells that give keywords is weird to me.

Undatakah summons a copy of villain, not itself right?
8/5 vanilla takah
