thinking about it a while I think this might fit best into Malygos Druid.
Basically, you can't use this as your sole combo enabler because not drawing your win condition is not reliable enough, and shuffling, then drawing it is also a very inconsistent strategy as you basically open yourself up to 2 turns of assault by your enemy, which most decks won't survive.
However, Malygos Druid has one main advantage in this case: You don'T actually need to get a 1-mana Malygos,, because you have Dreampetal Florist as a backup.
The way I'm thinking of it, you just play your regular Malygos combo with Florist, Floop, and Alexstraza, BUT you use Jepetto as an alternative high roll option, much like Cloning Gallery works in Priest. If you get Jepetto on either Maly, Floop, Alex (or even the Florist tbh) you have significantly more options.
This would also work in Gonk Druid btw, but that deck just seems like an inferior version to Malygos right now. (just changing Maly and Alex to Gonk and Leeroy...or keep the Alex for better KO potential , but that just means more combo pieces needed)
Oh and before everyone's Druid PTSD kicks back in, remember that Druid loses a significant amount of draw power, ramp and armor gain, meaning that they aren't nearly as likely to even survive to pull of the combo, BUT it makes it an option to counter slow decks if they run rampant.

In general, I think the card is overhyped, but since its a neutral, its possible that one or two classes can make it work.
Meh. It's one of thoese RNG Cards that can totally change a win to instant loose if you play against it . I dislike it.
Generally, decks that use cards like this go out of their way to minimize the random aspect
I mean, go ahead and blame RNG if it makes you feel better about losing, but the real problem is that they are usually not nearly as random as they are seemingly designed to be.

You guys have to compare this to Luna' s Pocket Galaxy with a couple improvements. 1: it comes with a body. 2: it actually draws the cards it changed.
Also, 3: it (usually) reduces the stats and in the case of Taunt minions it really hurts. And 4: hits less targets than Luna's spell.
I think it will be similar to the Uther OTK decks, very powerful, but lots of moving parts so it will probably only workin the best classes like Warlock for the Hero Power and maybe Warrior for the control and survivability.
It might make the cut in my reno priest deck. It draws 2 cards which make it easier for me to setup my combo and/or get to my combo quicker. Not sure yet what to switch it with. Depends of the speed of the wild meta ..
8 mana for a minion and drawing 2 cards. Seems like a terrible deal? Remember that Druid card that did that before they nerfed it? 7 mana 5/5 and drew 2 cards (most times) or healed for 5.
This card is far better for combo decks or minions that don't care about the stats. Examples below...all for 1 mana. Basically Battlecry minions are the best.

Huh, the battlecry seems to target VERY strong late-game Deathrattle/Battlecry minions. But if you're already on turn 8+ why would you want these to become 1 mana 1/1s? Strange card.
I think the main problem with this card is consistency. If you have enough late game value cards it will most likely be good enough, but how do you get to the late game after rotation?
I don't see a lot of possibilities for that with the current revealed cards.
This card isn’t that good. 8 mana 6/6 is a huge commitment to a turn and if you can’t kill that next turn or follow with a strong board clear/ heal you’re dead. As much as I love mecha’thun, if you draw Mecha’thun before Joybuzz you lose, so that OTK is a bust. If used with Malygos then it’s the same deal. People are saying togwaggles scheme in rogue, but if any of those people actually played Malygos Rogue, then they would know a rogue combo deck is incredibly weak due to Rogue’s lack of control tools and having survivability, not to mention the Death Knight is rotating out. So it seems this card’s only real application is a non OTK deck and more of a heavy control deck. Maybe big Druid creeps back up. Who knows, but this card is not going to be some ridiculous OTK deck enabler. As for Wild you would never play this card over Barnes. Ever.
Edit: This is coming a from a guy who loves OTK decks. Also I will be very sad if they ever nerf Malygos instead of HOFing it. I could totally see them change Malygos to Battlecry: You have +5 Spell Damage this turn.
I agree, but if Ragnaros and Azure drake are in HoF Maly largely deserves to be there as well. Furthermore, the HS team usually doesn't gut legendaries.

I will definitely play this in wild in my Togwaggle druid. There arent many minions in this deck and i can even tutor this, cause it costs 8 and i can draw 7, 8, 9 and a 10 cost minions with Psychmelon. Malygos Combos are possible as well with a lot of classes...
Or what about Hakkar Paladin in Standard? Drawing Hakkar/Liam/Nozari is insane and can win you the game on the spot. But you still have the chance to cheat it out with "Duel" or "Prismatic Lense".

Rag and Azure drake were HOF'd because they were way too general and great cards. They were just good in almost any deck. Maly is a build around card. If the deck is not optimized for him it will be worthless to have in your deck.
The question on if it gets HOF'd is if they want that archtype to be in standard. It goes in and out of popularity but I think having bursty combo decks is important to keep control in check.
Got nuked today by a 60 damage mindblast and 2x 13 dmg sinister strikes. Looking forward to another 2 years of these combo finishers.
After seeing 3rd combo-hate card this expansion... I guess SOME decks still could use it anyway.

there is a difference between standard with this card and that brawl. this card is for combos in ranked while in the brawl aggro was the best.
