Huh, the battlecry seems to target VERY strong late-game Deathrattle/Battlecry minions. But if you're already on turn 8+ why would you want these to become 1 mana 1/1s? Strange card.
Because you can use them the next turn for 1 mana to trigger insane OTK combos. Malygos is the obvious possibility, but since he is neutral there are probably a range of potential OTKs he can set up.

Play this, draw Mecha'thun and Voodoo Doll, next turn Play Myra's Unstable Element, Then just drop Mecha'thun and voodoo doll it and blast the doll with your choice of rogue 1 damage spell. Ummm...... I'm tired of OTK decks and combos like this, personally.
I'm not sure this card is going to be as cray as people think. By the end of the year of the dragon we will see what broken synergies can be created to make this card amazing but right now it's gonna suck in almost every aggro/midrange deck because you will lose stat values of cards that help maintain pressure. I can only see this as really good in priest right away because you have the potential to bring back the 1/1's with mass resurrection but also no guarantee. Mage will also have a lot of success with this card because of how many high value minions they have in a control style deck. Who know's though i was wrong about zerek's cloning gallery and look what it became. I just think the reliance of having this card on curve is too great.
This card is an enabler for OTK combos, and OTK decks tend to be noninteractive and somewhat cancerous in the meta.

I don't get the overreaction, like many have said, this is a very bad turn 8 and you might draw pieces of your combo earlier. I see this more as a a value card for decks with cards with strong effects than a combo enabler. Could work good in Shudderwock decks but so do a lot of cards so might not even be optimal for this.
You don't play it in decks where it could disrupt your combo. It enables plenty of combos with pieces that don't care about being turned into 1/1's.

Very good card for combo decks - but at 8 mana it will make those combos difficult to execute, i.e. only the best players (with RNGesus on their side) will be able to pull them off.
Since you want Jepetto to pull high cost cards and make them 1 mana (as only those cards will give the effects/battlecries/deathrattles that will win you the game, OTK style) you will need your deck to contain mainly spells. Some of the best spells this game has ever seen are rotating, thus the decks using this card will require a lot of skill to make it beyond turn 9.
Then you also need to make sure you did not draw your big minions before turn 8 - at this point you will have drawn a minimum of 11 cards from your deck. And running card draws will also be a risk, because drawing 15 cards from your deck by turn 8 increases highly your chances of pulling your big minions.
Then again, Jepetto might work in some midrange decks, for extra value/card draw to finish off your opponent...

This card is good in any deathrattle or battlecry deck, not just combo. Maybe someone will make Shudderwock work with this
