i wanted to start a discussion about chameleos before but i didn't know how to present it until i decided to make it simple.
When i saw the card's reveal i said " i expected it to be a mediocre since Lady in White is a good legendary", while lady being good, around %50 winrate ( this morning she was %50.4) according to hsrelpy, i really didn't expect chameleos to be a solid card, i tried him at rank 15 and he was good, i said ok c'mon it's rank 15 everybody is lazy around here they wont even try climbing the ladder, i went to rank 10 and the card just kept winning me games i was not supposed to win, and i reached rank 5 and the card is still strong against every deck i face, the only downside of it that he is a bad topdeck.
What's your openion on Chameleos after testing/facing the card ?
I think its a great situational and value card. When drawn, you get a little advantage and every now and then you get an awesome card that puts your opponent on tilt. Its an auto include for me... no reason not to, it is just consistently good value.

That's why i was surprised by this card, because it's situational and in the same time is as you said "consistently good value".
I opened it, it's a sweet card. I do wish that you got some indication that it was in an opponent's hand, like play with it revealed but not show what card it was copying. There's a lot of look at your opponent's hand effects in different card games but you always knows that both players have the information, and it creates interesting scenarios and leveling games. If they know I have this and they I know they know I have it, why are they doing that? You have no way of telling if Cham was in your opponent's opener and they know your whole hand, which kind of sucks.
This is probably just salt though, it's a cool card and an extremely Priest legendary, wrecking fools with their own cards.

it could be really annoying for not knowing that your opponent has cham, but he is a legendary right?, and that's an effect for a legendary, which i don't see it as a broken effect, the card being annoying is acceptable, but don't make it broken ( looking at you Dark Pact )
I'm not saying it's broken, and priest is designed to be annoying, just that some symmetry would be nice, like with Mind Vision you know they know a card in your hand. I'm okay with legendaries being better than Mine Vision, just would've like more counterplay, especially when it's not always clear what lists will run it.
That said, I do like when HS does things that you can't do in a paper card game and secretly sniping your opponent's hand is one of those.
I think anyone who is surprised how well Chameleos is performing never experienced the "good old days" of Steal Priest. Who would have thought that stealing a rly good value card, removal or a win condition off your opponent would be so good, right? :)
It's a fun card, but I don't find it to be a gamechanger for Priest just yet. It definitely has the ability to be an impact card right now though albeit inconsistent.
It is a great card. The problem it is having is that Priest is kinda stuck in the middle of the pack right now with some pretty good decks. If the nerfs tone things down a bit, priest may start seeing more play, and I think Chameleos will be a big part of that.

If you want to counter chameleos, just fill your entire deck with really bad cards. The priest will keep waiting for something good, but surprise, there isn't anything and they will concede (maybe).
Anyway I like it in the lady in white+spiteful priest deck I found, but I haven't had much of any success with it in ranked. I think most of the value Chameleos has is the stealing effect, not really the hand knowledge one since all decks are more or less set in stone and you already know what you have to play around, usually. Knowing for sure is of course better, but if there is something you need to play around with you should be assuming you know for sure anyway until they give you some indication that they don't have it.
Greetings everyone.

im completely eager to read your posts.
Chameleos just gave me Azalina which helped me to copy the druid's entire combo ( aviana + kun + togwaggle + azalina )

I have a golden chameleos so should tell you what I think about it, even if it is situational. When it works though, it really works.
It's a fun card. Some cards are just too fun! Blizz, pls nerf!

It shows you the cards that your opponent have in hand, against control it's quite useful.
But you never want to top deck it and you never want to have in your hand against aggro.
Situational card I think, but I love it.

its a cool fun card, it wont see play . Like 99,9% cool fun cards.

It is quite dank, since if you manage to snag Sulfuras or Frost Lich Jaina or something like that, it's memeing time.

Under rated in my opinion
Let me change your mind...
