Pretty bad. It's supposed to help you against aggro but has the opposite of taunt stabled on to it. Makes no sense. Yes in fringe cases you can use it to trade up, but most aggro decks are just happy to ignore it and go face. It has decent stats though and this is one of the few cases where 4/3 is actually stronger than a 3/4.
this is like many cards shown so far, a midrange card for a class that does not play midrange right now. a warrior deck running this as a way to help activate shield slam as well as hopefully get a bunch of free damage might be possible. It has a one mana effect with vanilla stats for it's actual mana cost, although distributed in such a way that you could say it's stats are worth 0.5 less than the mana cost. That is decent and in a deck hoping to kill the opponent fast, but by controlling board and not by pumping face with a bunch of burst after turn 4 or 5 when your board got cleared and you ran out of cards.
I have doubts since it seems a little clunky for hearthstone, but this expansion seems to be exploring design space that has been used in many other card games where the card itself looks sort of clunky and not particularly amazing otherwise, but synergy and mindgames carry it to viability. This is a common thing in magic and a few of the other online ccgs.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
You guy can just think its a 3 mana shadowbolt that can sit on the board. Vs aggro ok they will ignore it but you can trade 2 minion or an oncurve minion with it. Vs control deck it really act as a threat they cant affford to ignore. The flexibility of this card is insane. And Nzoth can bring it back lolz. Very clever design by the devs.
It is a good card that many people underlook as Shieldmaiden in GVG card release. You can't ignore a 3-drop minion has 4 attack like Injured Blademaster.
For control/ mid range warrior, it provides a board fill in the early game and potential 6 armor. I am sure that if there is control type warrior, it must put into your deck.
Love this mechanic. Against most control matches, it'll still get traded off by your opponent, giving you high value. Against most aggro, he'll probably be ignored and live to make good trades or get manipulated the next turn.
Really, really strange card. Very powerful if you consider defender of argus on curve as the dream. Would probably result in aggressive decks running silence even more than they are now.
Looks pretty strong, given the fact that you can fit two of them in a deck, if you put a random taunt buff like Defender of Argus it becomes even stronger.
Weird card. I voted playable ,but I guess it depends how the meta will be . Against aggro this is only good if you can taunt him up. That seems like a questionable combo. ( also taunting up a 3HP minion doesn't seem worth it)
And against Jadedruid or Controlpaladin, well they don't care about armor. But withmore deathrattle minions it could be decent in a Nzoth deck.
This card is sick. 4/3 for 3 mana is super premium stats. Aggro will run this card 100% because it has insane stats and a super powerful and useful deathrattle. Control might run it too
Heh, watching the poll, I think I'm going to be able to mark bad card with great reviews down already. People are actually forgetting that 4/3 for 3 is quite a bad stat line which is quite amazing to me. The card could certainly work in some specific niche situations, but it's wayy too specific to be played in anything but a super warped meta.

For an aggro deck, this card is only just marginally better than Violet Illusionist with the same vanilla stats : i don't remember any iteration of Pirate Warrior even experimementing with the illusionist, so i fail to see why it will be any different with Mountainfire Armor. Frothing Berserker, Bloodsail Cultist & Southsea Captain still represents more damage, i doubt the deck will cut any of them to add Mountainfire Armor.
The great difference is that Illusionist encourages trades while this new card wants you to hit the fact. It's basically a 3 mana 4/3 Battlecry: Gain 6 armor since the enemy can't ignore a 4/3 when facing (haha) PW.

Pirate warrior doesn't care about 6 armor though most of the time? If they are in a situation where their life total is threatened, they have almost certainly already lost the game... Although true that sometimes face races happen where this would be 'okay', in general you'll want a more impactful drop then this.
control card? nope this is a face card which is good against all other non-warrior face decks.

Very cool card. At worst just a 4/3 on curve, at best you force them to kill it and just hit face until they do.

This isn't exactly what I'd call a game changer card, but one I would say is a near auto-include simply because it's good.

SUper card
This was the first good deathrattle minion of this expansion it is not a sticky type of deathrattle but 6 armor is not bad.
Very good card.. I wonder if it will be a controll tool like intented or if aggro finds a way to use it for better mirror matches.
Who can take your trash out?
Stomp it down for you?
Shake the plastic bag
and do the twisty thingy, too?
I see some sort of nzoth barnes hybrid deck including this card
