So I'm pretty close to 1600 dust in order to craft a new legendary, and I'm torn between 3 legendaries atm. I play wild mode mostly, and when I decide to start ranking up at the end of the season, I use a Secret N'zoth Pally deck (sorry), but the rest of the season I mostly play this reincarnate shaman deck (I temporarily replaced one of the lightning storms with Moroes, just to see how valuable a ping every turn is in a control deck. Ironically I never seem to draw him before turn 10, but when I play him he lasts fairly long and provides decent value):
The three legendaries I intend to craft are Dr. Boom, Ysera, and Tirion Fordring. First, the good Doctor. Dr. Boom seems appealing, mainly due to the fact that he was a staple in most pre-standard decks and his general brokenness. This makes him probably the most versatile of the three. However, there's the issue that he only works in wild, so I'd be crafting a card that can only be used only in one mode and tavern brawl. More importantly however, I think the problem is that he would end up diluting my N'zoth battlecry with the Boom Bots.
I also plan on eventually crafting Ysera for my N'zoth shaman deck. Both she and Dr. Boom are meant to be a replacement for Kel'Thuzad, which I tend to never drop unless I already have a good board and have nothing better to play that turn, which is, as you know, the very definition of a win-more card. I feel Ysera would be great as a final win condition, once my opponent and I have each exhausted all other resources, but with the win conditions I have currently (N'zoth, Feugen/Stalagg) I'm not sure I require another one. Furthermore, once I acquire Barnes, Ysera would be waaay better to get off him then Boom, so there's that to consider.
Finally, Tirion. This card is even less versatile than the other two, being playable in only paladin decks. However, IMO it's still probably the best legendary of the three. Furthermore, my secret pally deck is pretty terrible as far as secret pally decks go, due to my glaring lack of LOE, Tirion, and Dr. Balanced (the first of which is because I'm F2P and set my sights on Naxx before LOE. Now Kara came out and I guess I should at least get the third wing before I start LOE). So anyway, I think while Tirion is the least versatile, he'd greatly improve my paladin deck overall and my rank at the end of the season, and a better end of season reward.
IMO it comes down to what class(es) you will like to play more.
If you don't see yourself playing a lot of paladin, or want something you can put in any deck, craft Dr. Boom. Keeping in mind you wont be able to bring him with you if you ever play standard.
If you really want to/ enjoy playing a midrange or control paladin and have always been missing that extra late-game presence, perhaps try Tirion Fordring. Keep in mind it is a classic card and you would be able to use it in standard if you ever chose to.

I don't think either of them are a bad choice.
Since you like paladin, you can't go wrong with Tirion Fordring. not only is he a classic, but N'zoth can reincarnate him. Good luck!
