This is actually considerably better than I initially thought it would be. I just stuck it in my control N'zoth shaman deck without making any changes to the spells I put in and it carried me for several games. It works really well if you have a large number of 2 and 3 mana spells, and maybe a few 4 and 5 mana spells. I had 2 hexes and 2 volcanoes in mine.
25, I really didn't like the last meta so I was really late for saving up gold for packs. I'm usually satisfied with whatever cards I get just from the gold saved so I've never really preordered an expansion.
One thing that I just realized, is that with this card, Hallazeal the Ascended could actually be really good in shaman control decks again (in wild ofc). He saw a little play in control shaman from WotOG to around the beginning of Ungoro, and with Hagatha generating more spells to use with him, he becomes a lot more useful. He was difficult to build around since while cards like EleD are powerful with him, he wasn't powerful enough to use up a cardslot simply on the basis that it would synergize with Hallazeal. But now we can get tons of spells that we don't have to sacrifice a cardslot for, most of which can synergize with Hallazeal. You still might want to save him up for a big EleD turn, but you also have the option to use him with one of your many other cards if possible. It adds more flexibility and it gives you more reasons than just a few select board clears to play Hallazeal in your deck.
I mean, sure it's nice that mage is getting a zoo style archetype. And it's certainly cool that this chromaggus-style card gets 2 mana 2/2 stats which drastically changes the playing style. But there are ways to push zoo mage, even in a card draw direction, that don't have to directly copy an old effect. Usually people are looking for interesting new effects for legendaries, and I'm sorry but a stat change really doesn't cut it.
It looks like they just... copied Chromaggus's effect but limited it to minions. I mean, on first glance yeah it looks really powerful, but I'm still kind of disappointed. Couldn't they have done something a little bit new?
Ok so for this card to have playable stats your opponent should have at most 5 cards in hand. I feel like this card is only good if you're able to cheat it out.
Hopefully not, I'm still traumatized by the haunting echoes of what felt like an eternity of literally nothing but mid-range Shaman.^^
How about nothing but control shaman? Hagatha is an 8-mana hero card, which implies a control win condition. If that's any indication of the direction they're taking shaman next expansion, we might get to see a good control shaman deck again!
Either way I'm gonna keep my N'zoth Shaman ready, Hagatha looks pretty deathrattle-y if you ask me.
4 in 42 packs. One of them I wanted, two were considered pretty good cards, and the other two are good meme cards. Epic droprate for me was pretty low, but I'm pretty happy with my packs.
A lot of people are concerned about the strength of priest with all the good cards they got this expansion coupled with all the good ones it has this expansion. I am too. But I'm also thinking that with the crazy cards they got this expansion, we might be able to see nerfs towards some of the far less interesting and less fun cards they currently have.
I actually think that with the exception of Duskbreaker, all the strong cards that priest got this expansion were pretty cool and original, like Psychic Scream, which I would absolutely love it wasn't so perfect for Razakus. But if this actually leads to some change, I feel like we could really enjoy the new cards priest got. I dunno, they developers might just as easily decide not to do anything. But I really hope they do, because I really hope I don't have to come up against the current (or better) variation of Razakus in wild forever.

I feel like it was mentioned somewhere that we'd be getting two hero cards this expansion. Is it possible that Talanji is the second one?

If I do craft anything golden, it'll be Hagatha. Still debating on whether I can afford the dust.

Does anyone know who the artist is or where we can find the full art? I don't think the art for the expansion can get much better than this

I admit I may have giggled like a 5-year old when this happened.

As it turns out, Level Up! was actually an epic.
