I think the only deck it would fit is a Reno Paladin in wild. No way it will be played in Standard, unless Paladin gets some serious Silverhand Recruit synergy. Maybe a class legendary that costs 1 less for every Recruit on the board?
Ohh, it feels so good to see all these gvg players crying about how it is not good as muster,but nobody is talking how op is muster...finally real justice...they are giving non op card to paladin, it must be a dream...at least, for now.
This isn't as crazy as muster, but it isn't a bad card. It might be weak to aoe, but it's also better against something like fireball. Great with knife juggler and all the other powerful token and buff cards paladins are able to use.
Im tired of people complaining about how bad the expansion is after 7 of 134 cards are revealed with 4 of them being potentially constructed playable. The standard for cards isnt what it once was. GVG and Naxx had some of the most insane cards Hearthstone will hopefully ever see. A few nicely balanced cards like this dont destroy a set.
The draw of this card for me is pretty funny. Stand Against Darkness, but the tentacles are almost getting the Silverhand, so, it is losting the battle in the draw. XD
About the card, i like it for facepaladin i would do it :p
Wow... the hate for this card all over the thread.. This card is actually preeeeeeeeeeeety good why? Well at the 5 mana slot (in standard) you get Tuskarr Jouster, Azure Drake and Dragon Consort so if you aren't running a dragon deck, only tuskarr isn't enough(if you are midrange you need more than 2 5 drops).. it's not wisps it's Silver Hand Recruit.
This card might indicate big recruit synergy in the set as well not only cause of this card but also cause it's the direction blizzard has been pushing paladin for a while.. in TGT we get one synergistic card though..
Also let me tell you something about standard.. first of all you don't get all the crazy GVG and naxx early game minions, secondly a lot of aggro cards will get the nerf hammer which means.. it could be not so slow..
It's is weak to board clears but a lot of things are..
well this is a common card so i didn't expect it to be busted. 5 mana for 5 1/1's isn't bad. One way to look at it is that it auto makes Sea Giant cost 5 less. gives you 5 free minions that, if they survive, help with drawing from Solemn Vigil or Cult Master.
in the bubble right now, ya its not amazing cause we have some super high value cards but could be played later on. hell i'd play this in a super heavy warrior meta. they already have issues against current paladins. what do you think this will do?
also, inbefore a new card comes out and reads "battlecry: heal 1 for each silver hand recruit that has died this game" and another that says "Battlecry: deal 1 damage randomly split among all enemies for each silver hand recruit that has died this game"
If the cards was 4 mana it would be playable/borderline/irrelevant. This card will see no play.

People make fun of the card's initials. But Muster for Battle's initial are MFB, which is even better if you think about it.

well its good paladin get trash card seeing they have been so strong lately . its just perfect to see them getting a short stick .
People should really wait to pass judgement on this card until we know what kind of "buff your guys" cards Paladin also gets.

Will probably end up standard playable for Pally. Definitely will at least be in token decks in Wild for funsies.
This card is just the example of sadness~ weak~ sad~ not even a weapon 1/3 to go with it~ I d rather have muster more value

Muster for Battle is a broken card Shielded Minibot is a broken card.
So this is a goodcard!!! I am happy they keep the token based cards in paladin in standard too!
