when i saw the videos before playing this brawl i thought annoy-otron was stronger but playing the brawl i have won like 8 with boombot and 0 with annoyotron, this is still better than rag vs nefarian and 1301938038093128038018404278804029810484'08210124147918409184018 times better than medivh vs Aleera, and

Well I've lost, A LOT, with both versions. I've won 2 games, 1 of which was BEFORE I got the 5 Tavern Brawl wins quest. I'm pretty sure I'm not just a really, really terrible player. I think maybe 15 losses now. Never lucky. Back to ranked.
I tried to give it another chance, but the annoy-o-tron deck is absolute crap with all the boom bot board clears. Least favorite brawl yet, by FAR. Meanwhile the boom bot deck gets all sorts of removal both single target and AOE
Probably the most balanced of the pre-built deck Brawls, but still very RNG heavy. Annoy-o-tron has awful reach, so once you fall behind its game over, but you can snowball really hard and just use divine shields for free kills.
Me: playing annoytron, its turn 10 i have 2 health and have to go all in, so i use my hero power to taunt and divine shield my mekingerr and then drop my last 3 minions
My opponent: has 8 health left, has stealthed yeti and 3/2 panda, he use his hero power, it ping my mekingerr and hit one of my minions, he waits for like 15 seconds and then use flamecannon, ofc it hits my mekinger, you know what happend next >_<
This is a great brawl, one of my favourites. I have won easily with both sides, there has been very nail biting games also. I do think the Annoy-o-deck is harder to play, because you need to avoid overextending, keeping juuust the right amount of pressure (not too little because the hero power of Boom eventually will kill you)
Dunno about this brawl. Premade decks like these tend to work in a way where, if you get a good minion or two early, you win because you snowball out of the control of the other player, who can do basically nothing to make a comeback. Falling behind within the first two or three turns is basically an unrecoverable situation. I didn't play that many games, but in every game I played, the outcome was basically decided by turn 3 or 4. I've played only one game that lasted up to eight turns.
Boom Bot appears to have a slightly better chance at a comeback due to better removal spells, but even that isn't all that likely if most games don't even reach a seventh turn. Heck, in like half of my games, one of the players didn't even get a playable minion before turn 4. In my last game, all I had were 5+ mana minions and "bad" weapons for that kind of situation (Cogmaster's Wrench, and another one that I forget the name of). That was the last straw and I said screw it. I'm done with this brawl. And I'm saying that after having experienced both wins and losses. Winning, while not as frustrating, is not anymore fun than losing if it's a complete one-sided game every single time.
Yes... That is exactly what my issue with this brawl is. Almost every game is one-sided.
Pure RNG (Portals, Webspinners) is better than bad premade decks where you have already lost by turn 3 if you don't get a great starting hand, because there's always a possibility of a comeback in those. In this, the chances of a comeback are so unlikely that it's downright not fun.
This is execly why blizzard should focus one giving us more cards that can swing the game when we are losing just because of bad/worse hand after mulligan than our opponent in next expansion/adventure. It's especially an issue on arena.
I don't understand the people who are winning as boom. I have a 100% winrate as Annoy, 0% as boom. The only times i've come close are when he obviously drew mostly late game. I'm getting suffocated by Clockwork Gnome/Cogmaster with divine shield. The annoy deck has actual synergy. Bolster is nuts. The boom deck? Twisting Nether lolololololol
Least favorite brawl yet, no minion of mine ever stuck on the board because I never got more than one minion playable in the early game in the early game, and it would just be removed by a divine shielded minion or 2 bombs. This was across about 10 games, with both characters, and I only won one because an opponent got a worse starting hand than I did and conceded.

Honestly, i think the boom deck is slightly more consistent. If, as annoy, you do not get a very low cost minion on the board to pair it with shield before Boom bot can kill it with hero power or one of his many removals, it can snowball away from you very quickly.
It's kind of nice reading that annoy's deck is crap, I only got boom bot for all 5 of my games. Honestly Annoy's ability to play say, a 6/3 and divine shield/taunt it in the same turn seems so unfair I felt physically ill.
And you know, perhaps I'm just tired and grumpy and was hoping for some relaxing matches but holy crap - the power of early game weapons cannot be overstated in a brawl where both sides have crap decks. I didn't even know boom bot had a weapon (though if the ogre effect fires on the warmaul it could potentially circumvent a divine shield and do some actual clearing), while annoy seems to have one by turn 4 every single game.
If you tell me the decks are balanced I'll believe you, 5 games isn't that much in the grand scheme of things, but I never had a game that felt anything other than excruciatingly frustrating.
AND SQUELCH DOESN"T STOP THE THINKING EMOTE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHH.

I've lost 10 games in a row playing either. I also lost 10 games in a row in ranked right before I switched to Tavern Brawl.
After getting to rank 9 last season this one is starting off just great. -_-

Oh boy ANOTHER RNG brawl...

RNGjesus was not on my side this time
So many salty players omg xD

what the hell OP boom bot deck is 2wice as good as annoyotron screw you blizzerd!!!
Han Solo dies
8 games straight as boom bot. I think the match making is broken. ;)
A weird brawl with strange decks and new heroes and hero powers? Me likey!
Lulz, that's a nice 500+ dust for a single match.

That is my opinion, in any case.
There are a lot of remedies we don't yet know a disease for.
Doesn't sound that different from ladder.

it seems pretty balanced as it almost entirely RNG on both sides. Pretty fun- definitely better than the the last two hero duels.
