Unless you're on the coin, you're dead to patches hunter on turn 4.
No, you hero power as much as the hunter does as a priest so the most they can push is 21 before your turn 4 and they only push 9 a turn outside of burn from their 8.
You have a small chance with Unstable Ghoul and warrior, but still bad odds. It mainly depends on what cards the hunter gets, because after the three patches waves he will draw into his class cards. I thought I could win, but Gahz'rilla into Call of the Wild finished me off. But if hunter has only crap it can work.

Power Word Glory does work assuming you don't get multiple draws of your other 8 cards.Like other suggestions, you'll loose to everything else.
Just went against patches rogue and patches warrior with PW: Glory Priest.
It's really fun watching them slowly realize that unless they can kill their board multiple times, they will have a slow, painful, fatigue death.
Not sure of the math on this, but with Warrior's armor up might be able to beat priest in fatigue, might need numbers.
(The Warrior I faced cleared his board on a Sandworm I got from Forbidden Shaping, and refilled, so he ended up 12 cards deeper in fatigue, conceded after the second fatigue card)
Make sure to mulligan for PW:G right away or else they might be able to get you low enough for bad draws to lose it for you, also insta loses to Mind Blast :/
Not sure about vs. Hunter yet, but I imagine it could be close since he can keep you from gaining health with hero power, sou you'll be stuck probably somewhere around 12-15 health if you draw all 7 PW:G off the bat. Might need a rando healing spell to save the day.
If anything, you'll at least waste their time for long enough that you feel good about yourself. Some of the more brainless ones might even concede for ya if they don't feel like playing it out. ;P
vs. Jades might be able to stabilize too? only need 10 PW:G to deal with board from 1/1 to 7/7, but they'll never fatigue so rip. Maybe they'll get bored before you do.

I know it won't stand up to Patches or Mind Blast, but I was wondering if anyone thought about trying Jade Shuriken? Probably too slow but could be fun. I have a combo card quest and I usually use tavern brawl to complete that kind of quest, but this tavern brawl seems awfully polarized between just a couple decks. :/
Dreadscale ? No, how could it be? When you can play your first dreadscale, it is turn 2 and his Jade counter is already at 3/3 (going into 4/4 and 5/5). From then, one of his Jades trades into two of your dreadscales (besides the fact that you can only play 1 dreadscale per turn until turn 6). And you merely kill his 1/1, the damaged 2/2 will trade for your first dreadscale...
And mindblast priest will kill you on turn 5. Too fast (not to mention patches, but that was probably clear in the first place)
I think someone previously mentioned using Armorsmith, which may help against Patches and Jade but not against Mind Blast. Don't know about Mistress of Mixtures, sounds similar to decks using Power Word: Glory, except you're also healing the opponent and only getting the heals when the minions die, so maybe Power Word: Glory is just better than Mistress of Mixtures for this.
Can confirm, Greater healing potion is also a fun Patches counter, and can also counter Mind Blast.
Make sure to get as many as you can early on. Against most decks you can stall early on, the GHP on 4, then once you've stabilized, you can hero power and GHP every other turn (14 healing over 2 turns, patches does 14 over 2 turns, unless it's a deck with dmg hero power), but you'd end up filling hand anyways, so you may as well just GHP and hero power every turn when you can.
Reason it can counter mind blast is that mind blast can only do max 25 dmg with 10 mana(MB x5) and GHP can Heal 30 with 10 mana (GHP x2, Hero power, but thats using 5 cards vs using 2, so GHP outvalues and MB runs out of steam)
Over the first 4 turns (until you can play GHP), Patches won't kill you (unless buffs are involved), and Mind blast can do max 10-20 before you can GHP, depending on if they use coin, or if you decide to coin GHP on 3, but you don't need to, since they do max 20 dmg. And since GHP can heal in 1 card what MB can damage in 2 cards, you'll stall them out in no time.
Also vs. Patches warrior, you can definitely win fatigue if you can find a way for them to reload patches (puts them 12 deeper in fatigue than you) or if some of your 8 random cards are good (had Kazakus into Confessor with respawn potion at end of game so the warrior insta conceded), but you might beat them even with them only 6 cards deeper, too lazy to do math though.
You insta lose to Jades though, can't fatigue em, and a board from 1/1-7/7 does 28 a turn, 29 with hero power.
But hey, you can win pretty much every other matchup! And a lot of them are in fatigue too, so you'll be wasting people's time, which somehow makes me feel more satisfied. (People would concede out of boredom too :P)
or maybe hunter timber wolf?
Duh. Good point. My bad lol.
Ice block mage beats patches. It is really boring and slow but if you want to troll people it is a good idea.
Unstable ghoul is way superior to dirty rat or cornered sentry.
Unstable ghoul kills 7 patches, rat/sentry kills 6. you have to be warrior or priest for the hero power to counter the patches hunter's hero power.

This is truly a rock/paper/scissors brawl
Specific counter decks beat patches
patches beat everything else
and everything else beats specific counter decks.

Is dreadscale fast enough for mind blast or jade?
I think it's too slow for Mind Blast, but if you get the coin it might be fast enough to counter Jade or Patches. At 3 mana it's a tad too slow IMHO.
Patches the Pirate is pretty crazy in this brawl.
