Doing quests while being below d5 is just pointless, I usually rank up first then do quests, you can gauge your meme deck building better that way. The higher you are, the less bots are present.
Also heads up, I think sharing players tags is not allowed, some staffers here have perpetrator protection fetish.
The thing about botters is that once their account is banned, they make a new one. So if you saw a lot of the same cards, especially if they were older Core cards that typically don’t see play, those are likely new.
Also I read somewhere that it’s common and normal in places like China for people to not accounts to get a lot of gold and packs, then they sell the accounts to people who want to play but don’t want to do that grind themselves. So that could also be what you are seeing. Those “pro botters” never stop and would likely have multiple accounts.
I’d say I was meeting bots around 1 in 3 games not long ago but they’ve disappeared completely now, haven’t seen one since the ban.
i belive because of the ban wave someone is just dropping bots on a "punish" take because right now the ladder is full of bots with asian nicks. I honestly belive if you want to reach legend ranks this is your momento 9 of 10 matches you will face a bot not joke.
standard heartstone, as example priest have have in their decks deathknight cards. that you discover from their decks. they havent shuffle the cards into their decks. i havent either seen this before but started around the infamous heroic duel hacks.
I’m seeing a lot of bots at D10. They’ve changed their behaviour patterns and usernames. They’re almost always with a username like BigYeti. Two words and a capital in the middle. They used to be a string of consonants but not anymore.
There’s a Druid variety who plays mostly neutral cards which is very weak, it’s incredible they’ve made it to D10. They’ll often make nonsensical plays, the algorithm is still shoddy, like play buff cards on non-existant boards for example. Apart from that, it’s deck which requires no thought like TreantDruid and MechRogue. They can run through games quickly and efficiently and the pattern is fairly simply (exceptionally simple for TreantDruid). There’s AutomatonPriest too. I feel like it’s worse than before, didn’t used to see any for a while.
The only thing which is making me doubt is that they sometimes concede which they never used to do. I’m guessing they’re trying to circumvents the current detection measure.
im in D10 aswell and the amount of bots is horrible. I wonder how long time it take before blizzard sort this shit out. I see threat/mech rogue bots aswell, and the well known wild shaman bots.
Everyone thinking it's "remarkable" that bots can have these perfect draws and reach "X" level in ladder are forgetting one crucial thing...
Most of those bots you're seeing in that are Blizzard's Filler Bots - they can literally insert them anywhere they want to in the ladder, they can turn off their ranking/de-ranking so they stay there, and they can program their decks to draw exactly what they want, when they want...
And I'm sure there's a blue post somewhere that says, "We don't do those things..."
And if you believe that, let me tell you about a magical bunny that hops around this time of year hiding chocolate candies and brightly colored eggs.

I do know they said the Blizzard bots were taken out of ladder though and would only be in Apprentice Ranks from now on. But also,if they are still running them, why would they only run Mech Rogue bots in Wild with max 12 character names with random number/letter combos for names? I feel like they wouldn’t flood ladder to make every game against bots, especially since a lot of people find the bots to be easy wins, so… not helping to de-rank people.
No, these aren’t Blizzard. They’d at least have the common sense to run bots with different deck types, different classes, and with names like (adjective)(noun), ex: GreyOwl.
These bots seem to be cheating/hacking because there decks are fairly consistent with tons of draw and minimal random generation (mostly the 1/1 mechs). And they can climb fast against decks that can’t clear their board enough, or just from beating other bots. And I feel like with each ban wave the botters have been ramping up efforts to make more and more bot accounts. Like they think they’ll get Blizzard to just give up.
Actually its hard to spot the bots. I mostly play against warriors. They can make unbelievable dumb plays as if they were bots and it just works out well in the end. Hard to say if its a bot, an actual player or maybe just a cat walking over the keyboard.
Not only that, but i also have the strong feeling that they're cheating as well.
Most of the bots i keep meeting always get perfect manacurve/draws/discovers like 90% of the time
They are not cheating. Most bots use aggro/tempo decks with low mana curves. In other words, their decks are designed to curve out perfectly most of the time. Decks like these have used this strategy since the dawn of Hearthstone.
You must be an extremely bad player to blame your losses on cheating, especially against a bot.

And you must be extremely naive to think that these Blizzard Bots don't have programmed draws/hands...
When you see DK bot after DK bot, and MechRogue bot after MechRogue bot play the exact same cards, in the exact same order, with the exact same draws and plays in game after game after game... the law of averages just got taken out back and beaten senseless with a large club.
I see a DK bot name and I'm playing first, I can 100% guarantee you the bot's turn is Body Bagger, Coin, Skeletal Sidekick. EVERY TIME. There's no amount of "design to curve out perfectly" that guarantees they have those 2 cards in hand to start EVERY SINGLE GAME.
You could maybe get away with this as an excuse if only ONE person saw the law of averages getting <unlawfully inserted>, but player after player after player have reported these instances occurring...
And, for the record, there's absolutely no shame at all in losing to these kinds of bot aggro decks, as they're built to overwhelm and win quickly so they can get back in the rotation and ruin someone else's day... you have to find your own removal at a rate to match the bot's tempo and run it out of cards (since the bots don't play any sort of draw mechanism), then it's almost a given to prevail.

Doing quests on NA and 90% of games were bots. The same neutral cards and face plays over and over...
Up to Gold 3 are actual players, so dumb. Oddly EU doesn't have much bots, probably 25%.

EU ladder is filled by hackers, special those who run cards in their decks that is impossible to have. bots I havent faced much at all.
3 of those were probably bots
2 look like blizzard bots b/c of where you are on the ladder
That's not 90%

costs of setting up bots is near zero so banwaves do nothing

Its a wave... theres always more than one wave haha
Do bots use emotes? If you emote and they never emote back it's probably a bot...or they muted you at the start of the game(which is a good idea).
I used Thanks and got it back. The bots can indeed emote.
My God….. they are becoming self aware.
