I honestly don't care if you believe me. The truth doesn't require your belief, it exists, regardless of your ignorance.

As for your $100... I made more money than that simply in the time it took me to type out these sentences at work, so your childish attempts at bribery don't impress me either.

The deck build I'm referring to, I haven't seen since shortly before the new set launched - of course, that may be more of a "me" issue, since I refuse to play Standard or even attempt to ladder there in this current environment - but it's also quite possible enough people did exactly what you're asking for and sent it to Blizzard and they realized they got caught and "fixed" it.

I don't know the reasons, and again, honestly don't care. That you choose to deny what dozens of people have seen with their own eyes simply because it does not align with your belief system is cognitive dissonance on your part, not lying on ours.

Go take your $100 and spend it on an hour of counseling for your issues rather than waving it clownishly at me.

That's all I've got to say on this subject. Enjoy talking to yourself from here on out.

Both of you can blabber on the party line from Blizzard all you want... I've seen it. I've seen it DOZENS of games. I posted my game by game log of my Shockspitter deck last month - EVERY SINGLE DK BOT ON THAT RUN STARTED THE GAME WITH THE EXACT SAME PLAY AND HAND SEQUENCE.

And that's only the one month and one deck I physically logged. I've seen this go on for months. I've talked to other players who have seen it exactly the same way.

That you two are defending the absolutely indefensible is comically hilarious.

If it makes you two feel better to bury your heads in the sand and scream, "LA, LA, LA NOT HAPPENING - MY OVERLORDS AND MASTERS AT BLIZZARD WOULD NEVER CHEAT US", more stupid to you...

And you must be extremely naive to think that these Blizzard Bots don't have programmed draws/hands...

When you see DK bot after DK bot, and MechRogue bot after MechRogue bot play the exact same cards, in the exact same order, with the exact same draws and plays in game after game after game... the law of averages just got taken out back and beaten senseless with a large club.

I see a DK bot name and I'm playing first, I can 100% guarantee you the bot's turn is Body Bagger, Coin, Skeletal Sidekick. EVERY TIME. There's no amount of "design to curve out perfectly" that guarantees they have those 2 cards in hand to start EVERY SINGLE GAME.

You could maybe get away with this as an excuse if only ONE person saw the law of averages getting <unlawfully inserted>, but player after player after player have reported these instances occurring...

And, for the record, there's absolutely no shame at all in losing to these kinds of bot aggro decks, as they're built to overwhelm and win quickly so they can get back in the rotation and ruin someone else's day... you have to find your own removal at a rate to match the bot's tempo and run it out of cards (since the bots don't play any sort of draw mechanism), then it's almost a given to prevail.

overall i would be sad if it shut down...

I would just go to the Wiki and copy off all the cards and make my own hard copy of the game... and fixing all the things I felt needed to be fixed.

... honestly, we should probably all just go do that anyway.

Unless you buff every card creator to only delivering a limited pool of cards,

I thought about this a bit... I was thinking that your Discover mechanics could simply have a roll to determine which set they Discover from, then you shuffle the <attribute> cards you aren't using for that set (no getting duplicates of cards you're already using - eliminate Priest having 7 copies of their Titan) - or if it's a Discover effect for something in your deck, you present your opponent with a list of legitimate targets for any Discover effects you want to use, so a duplicate Discover pile can be generated for you to draw/search from.

It would be a bit cumbersome, at first, until your player base got used to how you'd have to alter the mechanics to operate in meatspace, but at least you (probably) wouldn't be facing the same 4 decks over and over again, ad nauseum, if you're playing your friends and just trying out new, fun ideas on each other... without giving Blizzard another dime for them to further corrupt this game with.

The social aspect and playing with friends or meeting up with like-minded people in guilds etc. I personally think the game can be very fun with the right people. But just playing against random people is (at least for me) becoming less and less fun with each expansion.

Well, for one thing they can make an ACTUAL Casual room, rather than the current Casual which is 99%, "I'm using a Tier 1 NetDeck, but I'm too much of a fucking chickenshit to 'risk' my 'ranking' by playing it against people who are actually looking to be competitive rather than just having fun."

And for anyone who thinks this isn't a feasible thing... I used to be a moderator (Adept) on the original Magic Online app... you could report people for using tournament-caliber decks in rooms specifically intended for casual/fun play - and we would review their game logs and see what deck they were playing and issue them escalating levels of warning if they were found to be violating the spirit of the Casual Play rooms.

It’s funny to read ‘SOME PEOPLE ARE STILL PAYING FOR THIS’ followed by people saying they bought mega-bundles

Sad... I believe the word you're looking for is "sad".

I mean... let's be honest, I'm quite certain there's WORSE places I've wasted $70 than on a HS bundle, once upon a time... and I'm working diligently to find all the footage to prove that and have it deleted... :D

But... it's their money, they can waste it as they please, of course... I just hate that people wasting their money that way is giving Blizzard the hilariously false impression that they're doing something right with this game... because THAT hasn't been the case since shortly after they launched Death Knights...

I think it was already at an irreparable state before this expansion... the last couple have been broken messes... this one is just all of that turned up to 11, and the devs clearly don't care, because SOMEONE is still throwing down money for this crap.

I've entirely given up on Standard... I only play Wild now... at least the clown show decks there have been there forever, and there's far more variety in them.

I still play for the daily quests and such, but I have no interest at all in climbing ladder,

Everyone thinking it's "remarkable" that bots can have these perfect draws and reach "X" level in ladder are forgetting one crucial thing...

Most of those bots you're seeing in that are Blizzard's Filler Bots - they can literally insert them anywhere they want to in the ladder, they can turn off their ranking/de-ranking so they stay there, and they can program their decks to draw exactly what they want, when they want...

And I'm sure there's a blue post somewhere that says, "We don't do those things..."

And if you believe that, let me tell you about a magical bunny that hops around this time of year hiding chocolate candies and brightly colored eggs.

The deck has sub 48% winrate in top 1k, it is not an "extremely good deck" in any sense of the word. Blizzard as usual is nerfing it because people whined about it despite it being a C tier deck.

You keep posting this winrate number... however, I would counter that is a facile statistic, in this regard.

The deck requires a very specific manner of play... and if someone comes from a different class/different playstyle and tries to pilot this deck incorrectly, they are going to lose, and lose a lot.

Seeing as netdecking, "the next hot thing" is rather in vogue, and this very site EXISTS to promote that sort of behavior, it stands to reason that at least some percentage of that disagreeable win rate has come from folks who do not possess the proper temperament and/or capacity to properly operate this deck.

but I'm seriously considering dropping Hearthstone for good. If I wanted to play cards against a computer I would have a lot more fun doing that in Balatro or Slay the Spire.

All of this right here... and if it's not bots... it's endless Standard Whizbang decks in Wild... I'm 23 games in today and I've played exactly TWO wild decks... every other deck on ladder in Wild is a MechRogue bot or one of a plethora of Standard Whizbang builds.

... make it 24, as I type this, and another Standard Shaman Elemental deck.

Yes... but don't worry... the elite uber-guards of the game have assured me that as soon as you play and beat 14,303,721 of these, your MMR will be high enough that you'll NEVER... E-E-E-E-E-EVER... see a bot again.

Of course, my personal take on that is the wannabe supergamer that made that reply to my similar thread is simply too stupid to recognize when he's playing a bot.

posted a message on Chemical Spill OTK!

It's somewhat clunky to try and get all the combo pieces... As you're only running one Audio Amplifier, and short of the random spell reduction DRs hitting Chemical Spill, it's a hard requirement to have cast it to get the combo off, so I replaced one of Steam Guardian with Tram Operator.

Since AA is the only Mech in the deck, it's a guaranteed find... with the added bonus of making AA free to play.
