So, I've tried laddering for a while, and of course the last 6 matches I played on EU were all Jade fucktards Druids. What I noticed is that in most cases JD doesn't really need Innervate or SP to win the match; in fact, out of the 6 matches, only one of them played those two cards. The problem is that the deck can just hard mulligan for ramp pretty much all of the time, they use Nourish for ramp, and because they have enough card draw (UI x2 being of course the biggest offender...) they can roflstomp pretty much every other deck. And before every Jade Druid apologist gets to my throat and tells me to "just run Skulking Geist lel"; NO. I run it in my decks, but I've found that most of the time it's just pure fucking garbage. The cost is way too high, the stats are bad, you don't want to run more than one copy in your deck, and for the rotten cherry on this shit sandwich: the card also hits your deck. The only thing that the upcoming nerfs will do is hit ramp and aggro druid, but our Tier S deck will still be as powerful and bullshit as ever.
I know most players don't have enough knowledge of this game to understand how much impact Innervate has, but if you don't, can't you people at least wait until the nerfs hit before trying to pass off judgement that is based on nothing other than lack of knowledge? 6 Games is nothing, if you told me those conclusions came from 1000 games across multiple decktypes, I would understand.
Another thing about Innervate is that it had to be nerfed eventually. Blizzard can argue that Master of Disguise or (insert card here) stifled Hearthstone's thought-space for new/different cards, but Innervate has been doing that for years now.
Even if you want to argue that it's not the inherent problem (not a good argument, pe se, but more power to you), it is still a problem; one that needed addressing yesterday.

I don't know, the last few druids I faced up against used innervate to a huge gain. But you're right in the fact that UI empowers a very greedy ramp play-style. It used to be if you ran all these ramp cards and used something like nourish for ramp as well, you'd be pretty severely starved on cards, but UI just fills it up. I think more than anything, it's just frustrating how Consistently druids can ramp these days. They're almost guaranteed to play at least a few in the first few turns of the game with 2x Wild growths, jade blossoms, mire keepers, into nourishes. The Innervate and spreading plauge nerf will affect Jade druid, but I have doubts that its proponents being pirate warrior and murloc paladin didn't get hit harder.
If they manage to ramp and UI without a care in the world, it means you are playing a slow, probably control deck. At which point, you should use Skulking Geist regardless of whether or not you like it. It's a card to help you deal with the unfair part of Jades, Infinite Resources.

Either way, you should just use other threads that already exist in the forum, not create new ones. Or even the Salt Thread.
Not necessarily. They can easily ramp on 2 and 3, play spreading plague and 4 which is a free 1-2 turns for the druid to ramp with nourish into 10 mana on turn 6. I mostly play midrange paladin and if I don't get a good start I just lose. Swipe is quite good against decks like paladin (if recruit/post warleader nerf) and hunter which nana they get an additional turn or 2. I think spreading plague is the problem though, at 5 health it's really brutal for aggro/midrange since you generally have to trade minions in twice. The mana cost isn't what deserved the nerf, compare it to protect the king and it's insanely more powerful for 2 (soon to be 3) more in a class with 8 ramp cards and UI/Noirish to refill their hand to either start dropping jades or other big minions
i had playing druid since beta and after over 4000 won games, 470 of them with druid, not including arena that i play a lot . i could tell you that innervate is just one of the mroe broken cards since day one due to the tempo it gives you.
But yes the problem of actual ramp druid is card draw, in other xpacs the only card draw druid had was nourish, and before ancient. but since ancient nerf the deck was crippled by lack of draw. Now UI gives it to him, so the deck loses his biggest fail.
So did innervate needed a nerf? yes. Did it resolves jade problem? maybe, but i doubt it.
These changes make it easier to go wide against JD. You should be able to out tempo depending on what deck you're playing. Skulking Geist is only there so that if he tries to keep tempo, you can still be around for the end game if you did well.
Everything will be fixed when jades and evolve rotate out of standard next year.
Not in wild tho. Last season's best wild deck was Jade Druid that runs the SAME list as standard one just with the addition of x2 Mulch
I forgot that card existed lol. The Grand Tournament really failed to make a lasting impression on my memory.

Hate murlocs, enjoy playing priest, have been trying Jade Rogue which is actually really good against anything that's not jade drood (which makes up probably around 50+% of the ladder...)

Why does Vicious Fledgling exist
innervate is a huge hit for druid, dunno when I was doing wella gianst druid the cards that rekt me the most are the cards being nerfed..
JD is still strong though.. just a but weaker I do wish they would hit the deck harder.
Change jade golem effect into putting them into your hand, then power wise it will be on par with other gangs from mean streets.
Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game
